I have been going to AEC for years. Dr Wladis was my Dr. My yearly check up was always very thorough. Having double vision, it was important to get the right prescription. I always left with a prescription whether it was the same with the new date or a new one. When I went this year, the Dr did not check my prescription. He told me to go to an Optometrist. Because of double vision, I feel my eye condition needs to be monitored as Dr. Wladis always did. Needless to say, I will not go back to Advanced Eye. Additionally, the Dr I had was rather curt as was the assistant.

Horrible horrible eye center , this past tues being 7/7/26 my mother had an eye exam with Dr. Lashkari she has been a pt of his for over 10yrs . My mom had a 3pm appt we were on time i myself am ems and know the importance of being on time with that we checked in my mom had her eyes dialized we were put in the main waiting room with at least 20 other people at 4:45 my mom said she was getting tired after all shes 85yrs old she said we been waiting awhile im gonna reschedule she informed the staff that this wait time is ridiculous and that she wanted to leave they talked her into staying mind u they close at 430pm I could here the office staff talking about my mother in the hall.. Dr. Lashkari came into the room they put us into and my mom asked why so long of a wait his response was " hey lady if you dont like it you can leave find yourself another doctor and eye clinic " extremely rude mind u im in health care im in the hospitals daily I shot up from that chair and said u are rude and disrespectful who do u think your talking to like that, that is my 85 yr old mother have some respect well I dont think he expected that and he tried to change the subject I told my mom lets go we are out of her he again said lets get through this I reluctantly stayed..... I myself am a pt of advanced eye center I will never set foot in there again and Mr. Lashkari as we will call u because a title and respect is earned we took your advice and yes we got another Dr. And another eye center .... my suggestion to anyone reading this stay clear from them

Me and my family will not go there anymore because one of my family member had a glaucoma surgery previously her eye get worse than before she’s 84 years old ,now the doctor wants to do another surgery she doesn’t trust the doctor anymore she request to go to Boston Medical center to have the surgery done,I was able to get a referral from Manet community health center ,today around 4 pm this woman from advance eye Doctor called me because she have no information about the surgery she needed information from me to give to someone elsewhere I was very confused ,I called the primary care Doctor to ask if the patient have the right to choose where to go to get the care that she need and I explained to them what happened,I don’t know what type of glasses they been prescribed me and my family none of them work ,look like the glaucoma Doctor is very upset because we want to get a second opinion and choose to have the surgery at Boston Medical center ,the eye Doctor didn’t even want to wait for a proper medical clearance before the surgery he was very pushy regardless that family member had very high blood pressure needed to fallow up with her primary care Doctor to have her blood pressure monitor before any surgery, The primary care physician prescribed a blood pressure monitor so she can see her blood pressure level every day for any change ,my advice to anyone it’s to be careful before you make any decisions

Never going in this Advanced Eye Center again. My family has gone to this location for 10+ years, but no more . The woman who is the main receptionist is always rude and dismissive. She has never greeted us in any form. She has never said thank you or any sort of pleasantries neither has any other staff. The front office and assistants act aloof and makes many mistakes The front receptionist is very , very, difficult to understand . She speaks with an incredibly heavy accent and I just can’t understand her. I’ve often had my appointment days and times confused because I can’t understand what she is saying. The doctors are nice and seem efficient . But no other employee is polite. It’s stressful and miserable to go here and I refuse to put myself in a position to be treated so rudely by an office staff, where I am a paying patient , any longer. I’m sure there must be a competent eye doctor in the area with a polite staff. Any place would be an improvement over this Advanced Eye Center.

The worst front office staff I've ever encountered. Have been a patient there since the 80's. Today's experience just floors me, I had a follow up visit for my cataract surgery that the office made. Today at the appointment I'm told I needed a referral (which I was NOT told at a previous visit) and neither person at the counter would listen to me when I tried to explain I wasn't told I needed a referral. One of them (blonde) actually had the nerve to tell me "it's your job to know your insurance", my reply was "it's your job to tell me i needed a referral for this appointment when you all made the appointment ". And the the other lady stood up and started talking over me and was so rude! I will be looking for another eye doctors office, although I did like my eye Doctor, Mr. Murphy. The front office staff is cruel.
