I can’t say enough good about Advanced Eye Care in Warren. My daughter broke her eyeglass frames that were just over a year old, so not under warranty. SVS no longer carries the frames so they couldn’t help. I called 18 places trying to find someone that could order the frames. Kim at Advanced Eye Care called the manufacturer, called SVS, followed up with the manufacturer and was able to order them. She stayed in contact with me the whole time and really went the extra mile to help. I highly recommend Advanced Eye Care. What an incredible asset Kim is to this business!
They are very trell with testing and helping to detect any thing ahead of time he seems to care 😀 I thought that they were a good I eye- glass company. But they changed on me. They have bad attitudes. Especially the lady named Kim at the front desk. She talks down on the elderly and people that come to get help for their eyes. I was sitting there, waiting to be seen. And I heard her on the phone talking to an elderly lady about someone else. And she was talking sarcastic and semi nasty trying to be slick with it off and on. And I thought I had an appointment with my original eye doctor and they scent another doctor. into the room to do my examination. Without letting me know up front that I was not seeing my regular doctor and if it was okay for me to see someone else, I am very particular about that. He did half of the exam and told me I had to come back for the rest when my original doctor gets there. That is very unprofessional. What kind of mess is that? I did not like it at all. They dilated my eyes. Then, tell me to go out and pick out frames. They only gave me a few minutes. Then, a lady came and called me. I was in the process of looking at a frame, getting ready to put it down and she called me again. And I heard her, she was, right there. I said I heard you. I didn't like her attitude from the beginning either. It was very dry, not welcoming and real bossy. I didn't say anything. I let that go until she called me like that. And that's when I told her, I heard her, then the white lady kim start grimming me and grimmed.her right back. Because I can be nice nasty as well. I'm not good at being fake, but I can do that. So I told him the eye doctor that I was not coming back to do anymore preliminary exams. He informed Kim the receptionist. I think that's her name and she had me sign something saying that I was not going to take them. And then l told her that they didn't have a good selection of glasses they do not have a good selection of glasses they didn't the last time and they really didn't this time. Fortunately, I had a pair picked out already that I had put a down payment on it has been a year because I am on a fixed income now? So I was going to just use those but when I tried them on, they were flimsy, I asked the lady back then to order me a new pair, I see that she did not. And I really wasn't crazy about them. That were just the best pair that I liked at the time. So I decided to ask for my prescription and go somewhere else. She said, fine. I can have it and I said, well, can I have my deposit back? She looks at me and said after a year in a real snobbish, tone and I said, yes. After a year it is my money, it shouldn't matter it is still my deposit. You can't just keep it. So she looked at me, and rolled her little eyes and get up and said, is money okay, because I paid with a credit card and I said, yes, money is okay. I shouldn't have to go through anything like that. And pay my money on top of it. And it was just totally rude. She tried to say that it was me. I got fed up when I started and I wasn't bad at all because I didn't curse them out or anything I have changed from that person to a certain degree, and they almost took me there. It's a shame that you have to go through this. People are something else these days. And it's getting worse and not better wow it is so sad and shameful SMH. Go to SvS vision care on twelve mile and they will get you right with wonderful personalities as well as a good selection. That's how you do it. Shout out to S v S vision care.🫶🏿🙌🏾
