The Wonder Woman and Superman of Eye Care and Dry Eye, plus Sheena warrior princess. The Dry Eye Spa with MiBoFlo was an extraordinary experience, equal parts medical treatment and pampering. Before my visit, my eyes constantly felt gritty, dry, itchy, burning, and stingy. Sometimes it even felt like I had an eyelash stuck in my eye all day long. Dr. Tran performed a comprehensive dry eye evaluation using the fascinating OS1000 advanced imaging system. Within minutes, she was able to show me my meibomian glands, evaluate the quality of my tear film, and explain exactly why I was experiencing these symptoms. She diagnosed me with Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), essentially clogged oil glands that were preventing my tears from functioning properly. The pipes in my eyelids were clogged and needed help. Then came the MiBoFlo treatment, and wow. After gently cleansing my face and eyelids, Dr. Tran applied a cool gel and began treatment with the warmed MiBoFlo wand. The experience was soothing, relaxing, and incredibly comforting. It truly felt like an eye spa. I almost fell asleep during the procedure, and honestly, that may be the highest compliment I can give. The relief was immediate. My eyes felt refreshed, comfortable, and rejuvenated. That instant "ooh and ahh" feeling was amazing. Dr. Tran is compassionate, knowledgeable, and absolutely wonderful at what she does. I also needed help with an issue involving the prescription in my right eye glasses lens. Dr. Holcomb, the calm, thoughtful Superman of eye care. Easygoing, patient, and incredibly thorough, he never once seemed frustrated by my endless questions. He just smiles and dies his thing. He carefully worked through his measurements and, within minutes, discovered that I needed balanced vision. His attention to detail and willingness to listen made all the difference. Thanks to Dr. Holcomb, my vision became sharp, clear, and comfortable again. More importantly, after my exam I had many choices on glasses. Their optic shop manager, Sheena, made excellent recommendations. She is sweet, patient, and professional. We chose a perfect pair of glasses that looked good on my square head and jaw. Loved it. ❤️ A special shout-out to the entire staff as well. Everyone was warm, welcoming, professional, and genuinely invested in making the experience exceptional from start to finish. They created an environment that was both efficient and comforting. Dr. Holcomb is very personable & thorough. He explained every step in what he was doing and what he was looking at. The ladies performing my initial examine and the one that explained what my insurance covered, were very nice and explained everything in detailed.
