Love love LOVE the staff. Been going to them since roughly 2018-2019 and they always make you feel welcomed and they pay attention to your needs and wants! LOVEEEE Ms. Amber! She’s so sweet, HILARIOUS, and she makes the kiddos comfortable each visit! Would recommend to anyone seeking great eye care!
This was one of the rudest customer service interactions I have ever had with a company. We are new patients at this hospital, and within 30 minutes I received seven phone calls regarding our appointments scheduled for tomorrow. When I was finally able to answer, the representative explained that there was an issue with how my insurance information was appearing in their system. As I tried to understand and ask questions about the problem, she repeatedly interrupted me and would not let me speak. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. Because she would not allow me to have a conversation to resolve the issue, I asked her to cancel both appointments. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was beyond unprofessional and left a very poor first impression.
Brought my mom in for 2 appointments a couple months apart. The wait times are TERRIBLE. The first time, we waited almost an hour past her scheduled appointment time. Today was the follow-up appointment and we got there 30 minutes before her appointment. Minutes ticked by. Forty minutes after her appointment time, they still had not called her in to be seen. I went to the front desk (very nice ladies manning the desk) and asked for my mom's records and we left the office. We will not be returning. Our time is worth more and they obviously do not respect the time of their patients or caregivers. If you choose to go there, bring a couple good books to read.
I have been a patient of Dr. Avonda for several years now and always receive a thorough and excellent exam. The office staff and technicians go over and above to assist with selecting new glasses and dealing with insurance. I recently had a rather complicated and time-sensitive issue with my glasses and was leaving for a trip. Debbie went over and above while I was out of town to find a solution for me. I have recommended this practice to others and will continue to do so.
We had a great experience here. Dr. Avonda is so personable and friendly. Excellent exam and PERFECT script. I see so well with my new glasses. Amber is an amazing tech and Office Manager.
