Phenomenal staff! My five year old was extremely hesitant about having his eyes re-examined. The staff here were professional, amazing and exceptional. They went above and beyond to listen, and build rapport so they could throughly and properly evaluate him. They made an extremely reluctant five year old at ease. Highly recommend! 9-10-26. Staff continue to amaze us. They worked my son in after his school was concerned. Very thorough and incredible working and building rapport with my son. Highly recommend.

My first experience at Alamo Eye Care was outstanding. The front desk staff was courteous and polite. The office was clean and well organized. The technician (unfortunately, I didn’t get her name) but she was very friendly, skilled and exceptionally helpful, walking me through each step of the process. Dr. Boggess was superb, providing detailed answers to all my questions and concerns in a clear and understandable way. Overall, I was very pleased and satisfied with their exceptional eye care services.

The staff is friendly and helpful, and Dr. Frogozo provides excellent care. She is super smart and very thorough, and her care and concern are evident. She’s also super friendly and makes patients feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend Alamo Eye Care!

The staff at Alamo Eye Care are pleasant and welcoming. They make me feel comfortable during my appointment. Dr Frogozo is the absolute best. From the day I met her she has been patient with me and even took the time to explain what I was experiencing and what treatment plans or options were available to me. I cannot put into words how grateful I am to Dr Frogozo and her team for providing such great and compassionate care for me and my eyes!

I never had any issues until this morning regarding my balance and getting a trial pair of contacts. The day before, I spoke with Tia, who told me I could pay my balance, schedule an appointment, and receive a trial pair due to my current contacts being fuzzy and tearing. I went into the office, paid my collection balance in full, and scheduled my appointment based on that information. However, when it came time to receive the trial pair, I was denied per conversation the lady had with the Dr, but I didn't see her speaking to any Drs and also because my last visit was in 2024, and there wasn't any notes in the system from Tia. I explained that I have poor vision and excessive tearing, and I genuinely need to be able to see comfortably. It was frustrating to be told one thing, pay my balance, and then be denied the trial pair afterward. I also attempted to speak with Dr. Frogozo directly to better understand the situation, but I was informed that she does not speak with patients personally and directly. When I mentioned that I would come in to speak with her in person, the employee on the phone snickered before I disconnected, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. My husband and I have been loyal customers for years, so this experience was disappointing. I want to be clear that I have no issues with Dr. Frogozo personally — she has always treated me kindly. Unfortunately, because of how this situation was handled, I have decided to take my business elsewhere.
