Excellent doctors and a wonderful office staff. My son has been visiting Dr. Brooks for the past three years, and I have been a patient of Dr. Gilbar for the last five years. Both doctors are highly knowledgeable, professional, and a pleasure to work with. They take the time to answer questions, explain treatment options clearly, and genuinely care about their patients. The entire office is friendly, and welcoming. I highly recommend Alderwood Vision Source to anyone looking for outstanding eye care.

The entire staff is all very friendly, compassionate & competent. I have made Alderwood Vision Source my primary optometrist since I was in grade school. They are phenomenal and I cannot recommend this place enough to all my friends and family.

During our recent visit, we had an unpleasant experience with one of the saleswomen. She was unfriendly and gave off a negative attitude from the start, which made us feel unwelcome. Instead of asking us what we needed, she assumed and gave us a very high quote without any explanation. She was jotting down numbers on a sticky note, which felt unprofessional. When we clarified what we were looking for, her attitude noticeably worsened. When it came time to sign documents, I asked to review them before my mom signed, but the saleswoman was impatient, insisting we "just sign here." I made it clear that we don't sign anything without reading it first, and her attitude only became more dismissive. That said, we had a great experience with the front desk staff, and Dr. Brooks was amazing. My parents were very happy with the doctor, but unfortunately, due to the saleswoman’s behavior, we’ll be looking elsewhere for glasses and lenses. It's much easier to be kind and courteous than rude. I hope she receives more customer service training in the future.

I highly recommend the Alderwood Vision Source team. Dr. McKinney is so patient, takes the time to explain everything and answer questions and always enters the room with compassion and kindness. Ashley in the optical department is AMAZING…she let me try on a million pairs and walked me through all my options. She gives great advice on the look you want as well!
