This place is a disaster. The woman who answered the phone didn’t even know how to set up an appointment and then the person they handed me off to wasn’t listening and was defensive the entire time saying they don’t want self pay, only insurance. You don’t want upfront cash for your services? Bizarre staff. Even more bizarre business. Steer clear. Check their other reviews. Sinking ship in the industry.
I had been a patient of Dr. Lee for 6 years. I went there for routine eye exams and some extra vision tests. Dr. Lee was so nice and patient to explain everything that I don't know of. I've seen Dr. Chen once when Dr. Lee was not available and she was also very nice. I am no longer in the area now. So, when I am looking for potential eye doctors, I still recall the service Dr. Lee and Dr. Chen provided to me, and used that as a baseline to compare services. Both doctors here are ophthalmologists, but they can also work on my prescriptions. That's amazing. It's not so easy to find doctors that are specialized in both medical and optometry.
So unprofessional and poor time management I filled the new patient forms online, arrived on time, and even called their office to confirm the appointment a day prior. Despite these efforts to ensure a smooth process, I still waiting for over 30 minutes to see the doctor. I left a 3-word review on Google “poor time management” and Dr. Chen canceled my family’s prescription glasses after reading my feedback. This is so emotional and unprofessional. Why a doctor would revoke a patient's prescription order simply due to a third-party’s comment? There was no exaggeration or malicious intent in my initial review; it reflected the my real experience. This is the most unprofessional medical service I ever had.
Dr. Chen has taking care my son and daughter’s vision exams in several years. My son got his Ortho K glasses and routine inspections, and my daughter got her contacts there for last three years. Dr. Chen always very patient and friendly. She’s knowledgeable and always discuss the details options and treatment with us. My kids like her as well. The office is nice and clean, the reception lady is very friendly to help our appointments. Overall is very satisfying and highly recommend.
My son has been seeing Dr. Lee with ortho-k treatment for over two years. We are very happy that his myopia stabilized and he has perfect vision. For an active boy who plays sports everyday , we are very grateful to have the ortho-k option for him and have Dr. Lee as the doctor. The office is clean and spacious. Dr. Lee is very knowledgeable, friendly, patient, kind and great with kids.
