If I could give 0 stars, I would. I work for the federal post office and I have excellent insurance. Even before my scheduled appointment, I called my insurance to double. Check that all about eyes in foresight. Illinois was a covered service. I spoke to a representative and he assured me that this was a covered establishment for the service of vision exams and contacts. I arrived for my first exam. I was asked if I had the same insurance. And I agreed, then, after my exam, they told me, I needed to pay two hundred and fifty five dollars. I questioned why due to the fact that I have excellent insurance. And the person told me that my insurance is out of network. So without arguing in the store, I agreed to pay and submitted a claim through my blue cross, blue shield federal plan. Then, they made me come in for a contact fitting encharged me another f which should have been covered under my insurance as well. And I was told that I needed to pay 303 00 . I once again questioned the reason I would have to pay out of pocket and she became quite rude and insisted I needed to pay because it was out of network. I end up paying once again even though I know my insurance is covered . I once again had to go online and submit a claim that I shouldn't have to because it should have been handled at the place of business. Not sure what is oing on with this company. But it is quite infuriating!

The pricing here is wild. Made an appointment because they were listed as in-network but they wanted to charge me nearly $200 for annual eye exam. Same exact services are $50 at Bard Optical with the same vision insurance. Not sure what is going on there but no thanks!

Super easy to deal with. Very helpful. Everything was so smooth and completely explained, transparent and up front. Both ladies who helped me were beyond nice. Went above and beyond in an unusual situation. This is the best place to get a pair of glasses.( or two)

I am just wondering why items purchased off the shelf cannot be returned. I bought a pair of glasses, but the size wasn't right, so I wanted to exchange them for a different size; however, the staff said it wasn't possible.

The staff was very friendly. They walked me through my insurance coverage and were extremely helpful. The Doctor was great as well, I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
