UPDATE Nothing in their reply acknowledges the fact I have this done already and they refused to forgo it despite proof. I already discussed it. I get extensive retinal imaging already thus found it redundant and the fact they don’t customize care for patients and insist on it anyway speaks volumes to their motives. Lost a long-time customer because of their required $45 retinal imaging. Insurance does not cover it. When I explained I already get extensive imaging of my eyes due to a pre-exisiting medical condition and could bring in proof that I had extensive imaging already performed they still demanded I get the imaging but would 'waive the fee for a one time exemption'. It's not the $45 it's the point of why are they forcing it for 'patient care' when I already had it done and could bring proof? They were super nice about it and I don't blame this location's fault I know they are following corporate policy but this just feels less like patient care (especially since people like me could PROVE my eyes are extremely well photographed - optic nerve and all). and more like just a money grab. I asked for my records to be printed so I could go elsewhere. Again - the staff are extremely nice and I recognize it is not their fault but it's not 'recommended' it's REQUIRED. I just needed to update my prescription because my glasses broke. Buyer be warned...
I want to give a special thank you to Sabrina, the assistant manager, for going above and beyond for my son when he needed his glasses repaired. From the moment we walked in, she was kind, patient, professional, and truly caring. She took the time to make sure everything was fixed properly and treated us with such compassion and respect throughout the entire process. It’s rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about helping people the way Sabrina does. Her excellent customer service, positive attitude, and willingness to go the extra mile made such a stressful situation so much easier for us. My son left happy and comfortable again thanks to her help. Sabrina is truly an asset to your team, and I’m incredibly grateful for all she did for us. Thank you again for your outstanding service!
I recently purchased a pair of Ray-Ban Meta glasses from the All About Eyes Champaign location. After picking up my eyewear, I realized that I was not satisfied with the lenses and returned to the Champaign office on July 16, 2026, well within the company's 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee period. I was not seeking a refund, only a restyling or exchange option. Unfortunately, my experience with Sabrina K., whom I had initially worked with on June 26, 2026, was disappointing. When I inquired about restyling options, I felt that little effort was made to assist me or explore possible solutions. I was immediately informed that the glasses could not be returned and that restyling was not an option. The interaction felt dismissive, and the customer service demeanor did not reflect the level of support I expected. I was then provided with the contact information for the Bloomington location and advised to speak with the District Manager, Cristina, regarding the issue. Although I requested a callback from Cristina, I did not receive one. Fortunately, when I contacted the Bloomington location during my lunch break, I spoke with a professional and helpful staff member who listened to my concerns, explained the process, and immediately offered to contact and email the District Manager on my behalf. This level of courtesy and customer service was greatly appreciated and highlighted the difference in customer experience between the two locations. Most importantly, Donnie at the Champaign location stepped in and completely changed my experience. He addressed my concerns professionally, took the time to understand the issue, followed up with the District Manager regarding the restyling request, and worked within the company's 30-day Satisfaction Guarantee policy to help find a resolution. Kudos to Donnie for his professionalism, follow-through, and commitment to customer service. Employees like him make a significant difference and are the reason customers continue to return.
Sabrina was the best. I was heading out of town, already in the car, when I discovered a screw had fallen out of my glasses and the earpiece came off. I went to AAE as the closest place…didn’t buy the glasses there. Sabrina not only fixed it, she gave me a couple extra screws, straightened the frames and didn’t charge me. I was on my way in 10 minutes. Customer service like that is rare….and much appreciated!
