I just had an eye exam two days ago, my experience with the doctor went great. However, I ended leaving soooooo frustrated without getting a pair of glasses. I separate my reading glasses and my distance because progressive glasses do not work for me. My prescription for reading or distance are not strong and hasn't changed since my last exam 3 years ago. The rep that I dealt with kept trying to up sell me on a bunch of items that I didn't think I needed. I chose frames that were 100% covered with me insurance. I told them I just wanted reading glasses without blue light, anti glare, scratch resistance and all.the other add- ons. All of a sudden the rep tells me my lens is going to cost $95 out of if I want glasses lens and that the plastic lens will be thick because of my prescription, even though that hasn't changed. She's telling me.that the glass lens they used has some buily in features that I have to pay for if I did not plastic lens. How come all of a sudden my lens will be thick if I get plastic. This place is a joke. I tried to use my second insurance for a second pair since I also wanted shades, but she kept trying to steer me to some of the more pricier shades they had and telling me about a 49% discount, I told her that it would be cheaper for me.using my second insurance and paying the difference out of pocket. Then came the run around. Total waste time

I recently came across this America's Best location by chance, after I had fall and broke the arm of glasses. The Assistant Manager was so full of compassion when noticing how upset I was. She did not know that I had several disabilities that are not really visible when seated in front of me. I will definitely return to this Location in the future, and I have already shared my experience with neighbors and made them aware of how close the location is to our Community. I definitely was feeling the concern, as well as, the LOVE! Very appropriate as I visited this location on St. Valentine's Day!
Camille took care of me today in Kissimmee... She fixed my glasses within less than 10 minutes.. no charge... My account in New Jersey is legit here in Florida also... Great work Camille!
I had an excellent experience with the team at America’s Best, especially with Bryan and Amy who helped me process my insurance information. Amy was patient and diligent about ensuring I got exactly what I wanted with each pair of glasses I selected: progressive lenses with transitions. Dr Mujeeb had wonderful bedside manner. He made the exam process fun and informative They’re an amazing team and I’ll definitely be back!
The eye doctor here is fantastic, but everything after that goes downhill. The sales team for eyeglasses is awful and not helpful at all. I picked out two pairs, and they quoted me over $355 for just one pair. I was looking at over $550 for two pairs of glasses that’s with 40% off and my insurance. Then I was told the frames looked too tight on me, yet I wasn’t given any real guidance—just rushed toward picking out another pair. I managed to get the price down to $265, but the glasses became so basic that I decided to walk away, and the salesperson didn’t seem to care whatsoever. I went to Costco instead and got two pairs that fit me perfectly, with Transitions, for way cheaper—and I even got to choose my lens color, something they didn’t even offer here. It’s crazy. If you need an eye exam, go here he’s awesome and cares. But don’t waste your time buying glasses here—you’ll regret it. Sorry American’s Best maybe if you get actual staff that are trained better it would be a much better experience for all.
