I was very impressed with the whole process. Great staff, everyone is so helpful. The eye exam is performed by the optometry tech and the actual visual acuity is performed in a tele-health platform. It took about 3 weeks to get my glasses but I am very pleased! I like the selection and found 2 frames that look great on me that were part of the 2 pair for the price of one at other places. I needed trifocals and there were no hidden charges to the already low price.

I wanted to write about some recent experiences coming here. For one, their EyeCare Club is a great deal; for what you pay in one exam, you're better off paying for the membership so you can get other free exams. No, I don't work here LOL. I am an actual customer. I've referred my brother and mother to this location. Dr. Fernandez is AMAZING. Especially having a mother who is a senior, Dr. Fernandez's bedside manner & patience is top-notch; it made my mother feel comfortable to ask questions and feel informed. On a separate visit, the receptionist was able to schedule us in last minute while stating that parts of the exam would include a virtual doctor. The 1st part of the exam are the typical eye tests, look up, click when you see it flashing, etc. -that was in-person. After those tests, you go to the room where you wait for the remote doctor who then goes over the information and can remotely change the lenses (typical, "which is better: A or B?"). I, personally, had the remote exam done and no problem. In my case, I think because my senior mother just had such a positive experience with Dr. Fernandez, that now I know to aim for scheduling a time that she is available. The staff are generally exceptional. A few of them, while never short or rude, but not necessarily quite delivering the proactive service; can feel a little transactional at times.Then, again, I'm just checking out or waiting in the same room as them so it's not a super imperative/critical task. The juxtaposition is evident with people like Linda and Dr. F. Turn-around time was great. Prices fair.

My experience here was great! My husband and I typically go to the Ocala location but we’ve had way too many issues there and we decided to come to this Gainesville location after a situation that happened at Ocala and let me tell you I live in Ocala and it’s worth the drive to come here, they were very understanding about our situation and helped us a lot , special shoutout to Asst. manager Jen and Juliza who helped us a lot and comprehended everything. We can’t forget about the Dr! Dr. Samara Fernandez, she was very helpful, broke everything down into specifics in our appointment, gave us different solutions to better my husbands eye, etc. you can tell she really cared about his condition and was very empathetic about it all. I definitely recommend this location to everyone!!! Thank you everyone, will come here for my future appointments, NOT Ocala

I just went in today on a Saturday morning (6/20/26) and honestly had such a great experience. The gentleman at the front desk greeted me and answered all my questions. The pre exam Tech Bob was very helpful and efficient and Dr.Fernandez was very knowledgeable and kind, truly the highlight of my visit. I was nervous bc I hadn’t had an exam in a few years and this was a very relaxing experience everyone in the team was super friendly and professional. At check out Mr. Bryan helped me out when my insurance was being difficult and I’m very grateful for everyone. Thank you!

I am writing this now because I went in there yesterday and I thought everything was fine except for the fact they overcharged me $10. I had insurance it was very easy for me to figure out how much the total was for two pair of the same exact glasses. When I got home, I was reading my bill in the middle of the night and it looks like on the second pair. They didn’t include the extra polycarbonate lenses which I made very clear. they gave me just plain plastic lenses. Everybody that works there that day Knew what I wanted. I called today and it just happened to be that neither guy that put my paper information into the system was there. They are supposed to call me first thing in the morning and fix it. If they fix it to what nit supposed to be I will change my review. There’s already one pair coming in later than the other pair. Bobby and Brian please have this fixed by the time I speak with you tomorrow. My total would’ve been exactly $400 with the poly carbonate on both pairs!!!! I already spoke to the insurance company and if it’s not fixed, I will cancel everything. Also the extra $10 I will except in accessories or whatever you have for $10.
