Would give 1 star, but the staff I greeted upon my visit was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Ritenour gave me the wrong prescription and I wasted hundreds of dollars on a year's worth of contacts that cannot be returned. I had a visit to another America's Best location two years prior that said they were pleasantly surprised to see I had a slight improvement in my vision, but because it was minimal they would keep me on same prescription that I have had consistently the last several years. I shared this info with Dr. Ritenour and he was not impressed. He said this was not possible, that's not how vision worked, that it was genetic. I was surprised at his conviction, but continued with the exam. He then said, "your eyes have gotten worse". This was a shocker as my prescription hadn't changed in adulthood and in the last visit they had improved. I had this weird feeling at the time that he was "punishing" me with the news, but trusted him as a professional. Later on, I ordered the new contacts before travel, and found that my glasses with the original prescription work, but the new contacts prevented me from clearly seeing signs late at night. Should have gone with my gut. His personal bias definitely cost me. Won't return to this location.

The doctor was great! The other staff could work on their customer sevice skills. Warning that the deal that you get lured in with might not apply to you. My glasses would have been over $500 with all the issues with my prescription, so just beware and ask ahead. Also make sure to check ahead to see if your insurance is valid there - mine was not.

Every time I've gone has been incredibly pleasant! They've always gotten me in quickly, the staff is super friendly, and the doctor has been efficient and kind. All of my questions have been answered thoroughly, and none of the upsells were pushy, just offered. Definitely my favorite optometrist so far! Plus they offer 99 dollars for three years of free exams, plus a discount on contacts and a few other goodies.

Management here are absolute tyrants. Multiple times I have been being helped kindly by an employee, only for the manager to step in and make things much worse. One time actively not adjusting my glasses for me, telling me they fit just fine, despite the other employee being willing to help. Additionally, I paid for the year warranty on my glasses, and lo and behold, two days after the warranty expires my kid breaks them. Do they do the right thing and help replace my glasses? Of course not. Three separate employees tried to talk to the manager into it, but they said no every time. Do not give them your business, you will be disappointed.

The doctor and staff here are very friendly and helpful; my dad, who came with me, had a lot of questions for the doctor and the assistants and they answered all of them quickly and in a way that we both understood. The doctor was completely honest, telling me that getting contacts would be a waste of money and would not help my vision, which saved me a lot of money. The glasses they have at America's Best are all very nice and the people who worked there helped me find two pairs that looked great on me. I would recommend this place to everyone.
