After years of going to other eye doctors / optometrists, I can easily say Drs Bacon & Peterson are very personable and knowledgeable folks! On the glasses sales side, they have a great, stylish selection and staff that are incredibly friendly and helpful. One staff member will even sit down with you to help select frames that look good for you within your price range ! The folks at Eye Department make me feel cared for when I come in for my yearly pair of glasses. These folks deserve your business if they don’t have it already. Support local !!

Highly recommend The Eye Department! I started coming here as a new patient this year and the staff, along with Dr. Annie, have provided such a positive and attentive experience. Edward helped me from day one and made picking out my new eyeglasses and sunglasses a breeze. They have a great selection to choose from, and I’m happy I chose them for my eye care!

Simply the best eye care in Portland! Dr. Bacon has been my optometrist for over 15 years now and I can’t imagine going to anyone else for my eye care. She and her team are so kind, and I always look forward to SEEING them at my appointments. Best care anywhere!

Dr. Annie and her staff offer incredibly caring, thorough, and efficient patient care. Dr. Annie swiftly and gently removed a hair that had been stuck in my husband’s tear duct the past week and patiently answered all of our questions with care.
