This is my second time coming to America's Best eyewear and I had an absolutely fabulous sitting. The doctor was quick and accurate, answered all my questions and made it very easy. The The manager, Keely j, assistant Xavier M and Alsie R set up a fake red carpet runway to give me the best possible looks for my hunking head... Haha I was in and out with my exam, choice of frames and complete paperwork within 53 minutes. This by far has been the best appointment I've had dealing with eyewear in the last 20 years. I write very honest reviews and I'm also top 7% on the West Coast. If you agree with this, please hit the like button!!!

I had a really positive contact lens eye exam experience at this location today, especially with Dr. Nguyen. My appointment was originally scheduled for 2:20pm, but I was running about 30 minutes late, so I called to see if they could still take me. Luckily, Xavier was able to move my appointment to 5pm so I could still be seen the same day. The whole office staff was professional, helpful, and informative during check-in and pre-screening. I was one of the last patients Dr. Nguyen saw that day, but he was still very thorough, patient, and experienced throughout the entire contact lens exam. He even wiped down the phoropter chin and forehead rests to make sure everything was clean and sanitary. Dr. Nguyen confirmed that my vision has been very stable since my last exam two years ago. After I showed him the contact lens box for the lenses I’ve been wearing for years, he was able to finalize my exam during the first visit without any issues. That was extremely helpful because it saved me from having to make a second trip, which would have been at least a three-hour round trip just for trial lenses. He answered all my questions and gave me helpful info. I really appreciate his expertise and understanding. The whole office staff, including the office manager, was very accommodating and professional. This was the best experience I’ve had so far with America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses.
Update: I got a response on Friday, but for some reason it’s gone? Who do I reach out to? I Have been coming here for years and I’ve never had an issue. Today I came in to get an eyeglasses and contacts exam. Dr. Nguyen is awesome along with Tom at the front desk. The glasses I currently used had gotten loose over the past few months so I asked Xavier if I could have them re-tightened which he did. When my glasses were returned I noticed scratches which I assumed were finger smudges. I walked out the office and realized under the light that one of my lenses had been shattered during the tightening process 🥺. I came back in and asked if maybe the heat they used to tighten them has caused this and was told that was not the case… I find that hard to believe being that my glasses were perfectly fine before that. I ended up having to drive home with one eye closed because it is hard to see from the lense that was shattered. I was offered to come back next week to have their manager look at them? At this point I find that useless being that I new glasses on the way with a completely different prescription. I’m really disappointed with the way this was handled and the fact i’ll have to walk around with blurred vision for the next 2 weeks.
Edit: my partner went in to return my glasses, but the person almost refused to process the return (with receipts, less than 2 weeks from date of purchase) - kept trying to talk him out of it. So, he ended up returning his glasses, as well as mine. I don't know about other locations, but we won't be coming back here again. Asked to be screened for binocular vision issues and they ignored it entirely. The doctor finished my exam, seemed to hesitate for a few extra seconds, then sorta shrugged and went on to write down me prescription wrong. I didn't realize it until much later, but I hoped it was my lack of knowledge on the subject. When I went in to get the glasses, he set them down and they wobbled due to unevenness. When I came prior, they sat down and made sure my frames fit - this time, he simply waved me as politely as he could. My partner got better service only three days ago!
I had an extremely frustrating experience with America's Best. I made three separate appointments, and the first two were canceled at the last minute - while I was already on my way there. I was told it was because the doctor "wasn't coming in." That's completely unprofessional and a total waste of my time. For the third attempt, I walked in to confirm and schedule again. I was told the doctor had stepped out but would be back shortly. I waited for an entire hour, only to then be told to come back in two hours because he had decided to go to lunch. This level of disorganization and lack of respect for patients' time is unacceptable. If appointments are offered, they should be honored. I will not be returning and would not recommend this location to anyone
