Very happy with care and professionalism at this office. Everyone from front desk to drs take their time, explain procedures well, and remind you of upcoming appts, which is appreciated. Dr. Coday also did my cataracts surgery last year, and I couldn't be happier. We discussed all options, she guided me on choices, and everything went so smoothly from surgery to aftercare.

I had a very poor experience here. I made an appointment to get a chalazion removed at 3:50, I arrived 10 minutes early. I did not see the doctor until 5:15pm! They close at 5. By the time Dr. Coday got to my room, she was on a phone call. She looked at the computer and then left. I waited another few minutes for her to come back. My procedure was rushed, she was aggressively scraping and pulling at my eyelid, as I assume she wanted to get this over with and go home. It lasted all of 5 minutes, finally I left around 5:30pm, and there was literally no change in my eyelid. It looks the exact same as it has for the past 1.5 years. Please do proper research unlike I did, and see a serious doctor that truly cares about your concerns (and time for that matter). P.s. they never told the pharmacy about the antibiotic they prescribed me. When I arrived at the pharmacy the next day, they had no record of my prescription. I had to call the office, remind them about my procedure and prescription, and then wait another day for my antibiotics to be ready. I may be of a younger age (25) to where I am not taken seriously, or easier to take advantage of, but this was truly the worst experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office.
AMAZING service. I had a terrible morning; my washer flooded my home, I was running 15 minutes late, the staff and doctors still saw me, were kind, professional and empathetic. Everyone was courteous, professional and helpful. I will be a patient as long as they'll see me! (pun intended)
Update to my original review: While I still have never spoken with their billing department, I was able to connect with their Operations Manager and get my issue resolved. I was also informed that they are taking corrective action to resolve the communication issues within their Billing department. Whether the communication issues have been resolved can easily be confirmed by calling their Billing department. Just call their main number and select the option for the Billing department (option 4 at this time). If you call, and someone answers, then they have probably resolved their issues in the Billing department. If you cannot reach a Billing department staff member, I suggest you take my original review into consideration before selecting this company for your eye care. In my original review (below) I mentioned that the whole situation was feeling a bit fraudulent. Upon speaking with their Operations Manager I determined this was not the case. Their intent was not malicious. The issues I experienced were related to broken internal business processes and customer communication / engagement issues within their Billing department. Original review: Avoid this company. I have been trying to reach their billing department for two weeks now. They are perpetually 'unavailable' to assist me with a billing issue where they claim I owe them money for something, but they never mailed me a bill or posted anything in my Overlake MyChart account. I only learned of it via some random collections company. Since their billing department cannot be reached to confirm any details about this alleged debt, it is feeling more fraudulent by the day. Maybe they thought I would just pay it and not question it since it is a small sum. Not going to happen. If this was legit, they would be able to provide details around the alleged debt. So, be warned, if you choose to use this company for eyecare, you may just end up with fraudulent charges in your name, and at the very least, you will never get a hold of anyone at the company that can assist you with billing issues of any sort. Avoid the frustration, select a more professional company to deal with.
I couldn’t be more thrilled with the service here! The team at Overlake EyeCare saved the day for me! I was traveling to Houston with my son to see the Huskies play in the national championship and had recently run out of contacts. It wasn’t till the last minute that a realized this. On a prayer, I made my way to their office to see if I could get a few additional pairs. They were so accommodating, took their time listening to my request and eager to get me sorted out so that I could enjoy my time with my son. Thank you again so much!
