Dr Charles Clayton is the best Optometrist I have ever been treated by. I have been a loyal patient of Dr Clayton ever since my first visit 14 years ago. What makes him special is that he pays sincere attention to your condition, medical history, listens to your concerns and addresses them, explains the details in easy to understand terms. His trearment is centered on kindness, cheer, empathy, recommend but let the patient decide next steps. His staff at both sites of the Bellevue Vision clinic are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Dr Charles Clayton and the Bellevue Vision Clinic

Well lit and pleasant smelling office with kind, patient, and knowledgeable staff. They have new equipment and I didn't need to get my eyes dilated or have that 'blast of air into the eyeball thingy' that other eye doctors do. They got what looks like a handheld Star Trek Tri-corder that they use instead. It's all quite pleasant if you're going in for routine eye stuff. Easy to get to with busses as well, the 223 let me out right by their office.
Dr. Clayton has been my eye doctor for well over 10 years and what I appreciate the most about him is that he’s an investigator. On multiple occasions when two types of treatment may be possible, he gives me the tools necessary to go home and try out both options and has me decide what works best for my eyes. So, when he asks how my eyes have been when we begin my appointment, I know that whatever I say will be taken seriously and we’ll find a solution together.
The doctor and staff took the time I needed to get my prescription right. I have tricky eyes and need a bit more time than others to get it right, and the doctor and the staff gave me all that time. They explained everything necessary for me in terms of prescription, eye glass material and even frames. The eye doctor even had a sense of humor! Highly recommended.
Dr Hamza is amazing. She stays up with the latest in eye care. New test machines. She recommended recently available medicine for my dry eyes that is already helping. she knows a lot about cataract surgery... does Medicare pay, what options are available, how long for recovery. An invaluable resource.
