America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

My experience was definitely not like my visit 2 years ago. The new staff wasn't as thorough when initially picking out and ordering my glasses. Upon picking up my first set this past Saturday I was equally frustrated and disappointed. The store opened at 9am, I went at 11am all of the lights weren't on. There were 3 staff members there one was assisting another customer, and another was keeping her company; one even commented that the didn't turn all of the lights on. They just seemed to be hanging out casually doing their job. Upon getting my glasses, no one attempted to see how they fit or anything. I went out to my car put my glasses on and they were very loose. I went back into the store and a gentleman assisted me. Adjusting my glasses with a heat machine while we both stood at the front counter. Didn't really check to see if they were aligned properly. I have never experienced this type of service before. Although, they staff was professional in how they spoke to the customers, the level of professional that I expected hasn't there. This will probably be my last time shopping at America's Best. I feel that although the prices are good that you should have to sacrifice good quality service it was more like a drive-thru type service.

They definitely have new staff since I stopped working there. Sad to say they are NOT friendly and NOT knowledgeable. Selena does not need to be upfront greeting customers. She has a horrible attitude and talks down her coworkers (Taylor) in front of customers. I was about to be charged for a service I didn’t ask for nor did they tell me it was extra. When I asked Selena why I was being charged she gave me an excuse she thought I would fall for but I’ve been an optician for years before moving to another line of work. Which gave me the idea of the staff wanting to get over on people. Dr. Mayberry was excellent and very professional and polite. The techs were nice as well but Selena needs to be more careful of who she talks to because you never know who knows more than you. After I pick up my glasses when they come back from the lab. I will be going elsewhere.

WOW! The staff is very knowledgeable, kind and funny! They are both professional and relatable! I ended up getting the two pair deal because my insurance was out of network but I feel like I still spent less than I would have somewhere in network. They have a huge selection of frames too! See y'all next year 😉

I already have a prescription I got from my eye doctor so I called to ask about their prices & what they had available as far as frame brands. WOW! Selena knew everything! She asked such detailed questions to find out exactly what I would like & made me feel like I was the most important person in the world. Americas Best is getting all the top designer brands! Glad I called! I'll be asking for Selena for sure!

Waiting area is noisier than Walmart with screaming kids. Not professional at all. Ladies gathered together VERY loudly. A manager or someone should’ve reminded them that this is a place of business, not party central.And this was the STAFF, not customers. Now the staff seemed very pleasant over the phone, but this is a place of business, and their conduct should’ve been better as it’s a reflection on everything.
