TriaVision – Pell City (formerly VisionFirst Eye Center)

I just wanted to share what a great experience I had with Christina when selecting and ordering my glasses recently. Not only was she helpful in selecting the frames but the measurements were so accurate that, for the first time ever, I have not needed any adjustments from the day I received my new glasses. Christina even followed up with me by phone to be sure my glasses were working well for me 2 weeks later. This is the kind of attention to detail that is rare and very much appreciated. I will definitely return for sunglasses in the near future. Thank you for your caring professionalism!

Horrible experience. They never answer calls, do not return messages. Truly hate giving a bad review but come on. I show up because of no returned calls, wait over 15 minutes for someone to just acknowledge me. I have to stop someone and ask for help. Even if you’re currently with a customer and the only one working, you can at least greet them. Once I’m done with my needs, I’ll not be back.

Absolutely love Dr. Hamby, however, the Optical Department in Pell City is HORRIBLE! I have called and sent text messages for two days (all day long I might add) and no one has bothered to call and/or text me back. I ordered contacts over two weeks ago and to my knowledge because NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO CALL are still not in for pick up! This is not the first time I have had issues with them -- in fact, these types of issues go back over two years. I need to change eye care centers ASAP.

My daughter Susan went there. Dr Hamby was fantastic. Very professional and caring. His assistant is extremely friendly and very sweet. She kept me at ease the whole time. She will definitely be going back. To see Dr Hamby.!!!
