1 hour before my child's sceduled appt, Becky called to cancel stating their rotation doctor is running an hour and a half behind. When I stated we could just come in at that time she said and oh also, he is not good with. Children. You need to reschedule. Unbelievable, the Americas Best in Derr Valley is excellent. Arcadia branch is crap.

I had a really great experience at America’s Best, thanks to Raquel. She was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful to both me and my daughter. From the moment we arrived, she made us feel comfortable and taken care of. At first, my glasses didn’t fit properly and were too big, but Raquel quickly fixed them without any hassle. She made sure everything was just right and that I was completely satisfied before we left. Her positive attitude and genuine kindness really stood out. I truly appreciate the excellent service she provided, and it made our visit so much better. Thank you, Raquel, for going above and beyond! God bless you !!
The worst part is, I didn't even realize these people didn't know what they were doing. I have been here twice. The first time was an incredible experience, very professional. And that was maybe 3 years ago. The prescription was perfect. The second time I went there, new doctor did my eye exam, and somehow gave me a lesser prescription in both eyes. When I asked directly if it was normal for eyes to get better, I was told yes. Eyes fluctuate stronger and weaker all the time. I still don't know if that's true but when I went to a different optometrist and they looked at my eyes, did the exam, and then asked me about the discrepancy between my two previous visits. They said it was unlikely that my second eye exam was anywhere close to accurate given the condition of my eyes now. Go elsewhere.
I went in for an annual exam. The representative was very nice but it has been over two weeks with no update on my glasses delivery. I called and left message but no return call for over 5 days. I called to get an update on the glasses delivery and was on hold for 13 minutes so finally hung up. Very disappointed since I paid alot of money for the glasses. Still waiting for call. I work alot of hours and do not have time to just stop by to see if they are ready. Last year the service was much different and excellent.
The minute I walked in the store and the girl at the front desk was not happy I should have know to leave. I stayed ended up getting glasses and trial contacts and also 2 boxes of contacts I was told I could return if they didn't work. They didn't work so I went back to return and they said I could only get $45 back. I paid over $380 and they used my insurance for the contacts not the glasses. How stupid is that they were trials. Anyways back to lens crafters next year not even sure why I didn't go there in the first place.
