⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’ve been coming here annually for my eye exams and contact lens check-ups, and the staff is always so helpful and kind. Today I just walked in with a simple question about my glasses (which I didn’t even purchase here) because the little screw holding them together had fallen out yesterday. Thomas went above and beyond—he fixed my glasses in less than 3 minutes! I was so thankful and honestly overjoyed. When I asked how much it would cost, he simply asked me to leave feedback about their service instead. That kind of kindness and genuine care is rare these days. Thank you, Thomas, and the entire team at America’s Best in Downey, for always treating your customers with such respect and care. You’ve truly earned a loyal patient for life!

Claudia was extremely helpful, when my sister was getting her two pairs of glasses. She went over the specials and the pricing of all the add-ons. She was very thorough and made my sister feel very comfortable and not pressured into buying anything.

Not as advertised. They advertise deals but there are restrictions. Their two glasses and eye exam promo only applies to certain frames. The frames I liked were not on sale. The employees are bad at customer service and sales. They prefer to watch potential customers walk away than work with them.

I called a few different places before coming here, and honestly, none of them felt welcoming—as if they didn’t really care about my business. From the moment I spoke with Tony, everything changed. Tony truly listened to me and made me feel comfortable and confident about my purchase. With his patience and guidance, I didn’t just pick something I liked—I chose a couple of pairs that I absolutely love and know I’ll love for years to come. Without his help, I probably would’ve settled, but he made sure I didn’t. I also arrived a few minutes late, and another receptionist was preparing to turn me away. Tony stepped in, adjusted my appointment, and got me in the same day. That meant so much to me, especially since I work a lot and rarely have time to do things for myself. His professionalism, kindness, and genuine care made this such a great experience. If you’re going to America’s Best, ask for Tony—you won’t regret it!

I had the most amazing appointment at this location. The location is very clean and the offices are all kept nice and neat. The entire staff was polite. Cindy Lee was the absolute best. She was informative and so kind when conducting the eye exam. If you fill out the questionnaire about your health that they send out, it helps Cindy know what to look for when performing the exam. Tony, the manager, was extremely informative and helpful with my payment process and getting my new glasses set up. I will see you beautiful people next year😉
