The staff are generally helpful and professional, and the eye exam process is straightforward. The selection of frames is decent, with a variety of styles to choose from without feeling overwhelming. Once the order is placed, the pickup process is usually smooth. The reason for four stars instead of five is that the store can get busy, and wait times can sometimes be longer than expected. Overall though, it’s a good place for reliable service and good value if you need contacts or glasses.

absolutely horrible experience from the front staff. i was not greeted warmly and when i walked in with a smile explaining i had an appointment, i was dismissed and told to pick my frames. i am not new to America’s Best, and im aware that their prices vary based off of the lenses you choose. when i asked for clarification, again, i was met with a dismissive and very rue attitude. i was one of the only customers at this time so i was very taken back. once i was “checked in”, i waited for a while before the staff realized i was not actually checked in. because the woman at the front did not bother to acknowledge me, she had checked in another women with my same last name. both the PC and Doctor were both helpful and apologetic when they had to redo my exam due to the negligence of the front and my exam went wonderfully. when i made my way back up to the front, it was much busier so i waited to be called. after it had calmed down i asked the lady from before if it would be better for me to come in another time. she finally called me over & still was cold, rude, & did not have any of my correct info even after the doctors corrected her mistakes. i’m more than aware that we all have bad days. i gave her grace and another chance & i could just tell she did not want to help me. she even later started bringing up citizenship.. i was denied the managers info and she told me me if i wanted to talk to her i could come in when she was there.

Horrible experience. If they recommend their own brand of contacts, “Sofmeds,” I strongly recommend avoiding them. I ordered a full year supply, and they didn’t even last five months. They dried out much faster than any contacts I’ve used before. What makes it worse is that because I got the prescription through them, I’m now stuck with this brand unless I pay for another eye exam and prescription elsewhere. I’ll be taking my business somewhere else. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this place.

The lady assisting me with purchasing frames and lenses was very rude. I understand it’s not her fault that my insurance did not cover very much but her attitude was unacceptable. I was asking about cheaper options she made a few clicks on her computer and said nope it’s still over $300 for one pair. She just got up and walked away and sighed heavily showing how annoyed she was. I don’t know her name but she was older and had a chain attached to her glasses. She needs another job not dealing with customers. I left and I won’t ever return. I will also tell my friends and family to avoid this place

I visited this location last year and had a negative experience due to the unprofessionalism of the staff. Since it’s within walking distance of my home, I decided to give it another try this year. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the level of professionalism has not improved. While I cannot place all the blame on the staff, as the office appears to be severely understaffed, the manager also displayed unprofessional behavior. I witnessed her openly discussing a $130 deposit shortage on the floor in front of me and another customer, which made me extremely uncomfortable. I also overheard her telling an employee she had to take only a 30-minute lunch because they were short staffed, even though the employee was scheduled for a full hour. Additionally, she admitted to forgetting to check in a customer who had been waiting in the lobby for over an hour. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the doctor is fantastic. However, the selection of glasses is limited and overpriced. Due to the constant phone calls and need to assist other customers, staff members were unable to dedicate time to help me choose frames or discuss my options. Ultimately, I left without purchasing glasses and instead ordered my prescription online through a competitor. I will not be returning next year for my annual exam.
