I spent over $600 at America’s Best in Huntington Park purchasing two pairs of Ray-Ban glasses, and the entire experience was completely unacceptable. One pair was delivered visibly crooked and should never have been given to a customer in that condition. When I called the store to have the problem corrected, instead of receiving professional assistance, I was given the runaround and treated as though I was inconveniencing them. To make matters worse, the Ray-Ban cases I received appeared used, mismatched, or like cases that had been left behind by other customers. After spending more than $600 on two pairs of designer glasses, I was also given only one cleaning cloth to share between both pairs. That is not the level of quality or service anyone should receive after spending that much money. When I continued trying to resolve the issues, the staff became rude and complained about my calls rather than taking responsibility. I was eventually told that I could no longer come into the store and that I would have to contact corporate. It is unbelievable that a paying customer can spend hundreds of dollars, receive crooked glasses and questionable accessories, and then be discarded and banned from the store simply for asking that the problems be corrected. The customer service at this location was dismissive, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional. I would not recommend the America’s Best Huntington Park location to anyone. Customers deserve properly fitted glasses, new and appropriate accessories, and respectful service—especially after spending more than $600.
