Excellent experience. The lady and the gentleman (Isreal) at the front desk were very nice. Well informed and ran a smooth shift. Dr. David Cho was also really precise and good with his assessment. Highly recommend this location
Big S/O to the Americas best eyeglasses ( Tucker ) location!!! My experience with this specific location started while trying to find an eye doctor that could squeeze me in for the same day ( due to having a strict schedule ). I also was paying without insurance, therefore I wanted a hassle free process that would lead to me at least leaving with my trial eye contacts . I made TWO appointments for the Decatur location. Both times I went to the Decatur location I was turned around without ANY accommodations. In today’s time, gas isn’t cheap so you could only imagine how upset I was. My final attempt at going to a ( scheduled ) appointment with americas best they informed me upon arrival and inquiring about my appointment that they hadn’t actually sat up the appointment. The receptionist didn’t attempt to offer any resolution and stated that as the end all be all. Because I’m familiar with Americas best, I didn’t want to go to another company. This led me to call the Tucker location. The receptionist answered the phone and immediately was able to accommodate me with an appointment within the next ten minutes ! Upon arrival, I was met with warm smiles, compliments, and a sense of urgency. This was my first time having an appointment with a virtual doctor, so I was skeptical. However, The team kept me informed throughout the whole process. Everyone in that building knows their stuff ! After getting my contacts the team ensured that I had an excuse for work and informed me of what my next steps were. I enjoyed the light conversation and great experience. This location is out of way, However it’s now my main location!
I previously contacted customer service to report serious concerns regarding this location's lack of professionalism, poor communication, and repeated operational failures. Despite bringing these issues to their attention months ago, there has been no meaningful improvement. This is not a minor retail transaction—this is healthcare involving people's vision. Patients should not have to repeatedly follow up, correct staff errors, or endure unnecessary delays because employees are not properly trained or do not understand established procedures. The only reason I continued using this location was because the doctor provided quality care. Unfortunately, that level of professionalism was not reflected by the rest of the staff. Nearly every visit involved different employees who appeared unfamiliar with basic processes, resulting in misinformation, delays, and a complete lack of accountability. After my eye exam, it took months to have my contact lens prescription finalized and my order processed because of the office's repeated mistakes and failure to communicate. I was forced to repeatedly call for updates, only to discover that my prescription had not been finalized and my order had never been properly processed. These were preventable administrative failures, not circumstances beyond the office's control. To make matters worse, months later I received an unexpected bill for $63 that was never disclosed or explained at the time of my visit. Patients should not be surprised with unexplained charges after enduring months of delays caused by the office itself. A new location is not an excuse for repeated incompetence, inadequate training, or poor customer service. Management has a responsibility to ensure employees are properly trained, patients receive accurate information, and billing practices are transparent. Based on my experience, those basic standards were not met. I cannot recommend this location until significant improvements are made in staff training, communication, and overall accountability.
Israel & Roxy were the BOMB! Provided nothing but GREAT customer service, really the entire staff on duty. Dr. Cho answered my questions with attention & did not hesitate to elaborate . Dorothy assisted me with helping me look for two pairs of glasses that fit what I was looking for within my personal taste & style and I am nothing but appreciative for the guidance throughout my entire visit from start to finish . Thank you guys so much for making me feel seen through my appointment!
