America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I cannot say enough good things about Kathy and Justin at the American Best location in Morristown. Their level of customer service is truly exceptional—hands down the best I’ve ever experienced. Even though I was running late for school, I made the decision to drive all the way to this branch instead of going to the Union, NJ location—and I’m so glad I did. This isn’t my first time coming here either. The last time, they helped me out of a tough situation, and once again, they went above and beyond. Kathy and Justin are not only professional, but genuinely kind, patient, and dedicated to helping their customers. They treat you with respect and make you feel like you actually matter—something that is unfortunately lacking at other locations. Compared to the Union branch, which has been consistently disappointing, this Morristown team sets the standard for what customer service should be. If you’re thinking about going to American Best, do yourself a favor—go to Morristown and ask for Kathy or Justin. You will not regret it.

I will NEVER be returning to this store and this is all due to Wendy. I came in with my grandma today and Wendy, the optician, had the most disgusting attitude. Throughout the whole interaction she was short and rude to us despite us trying to be nice to her. The store was busy so we tried to be understanding, but she was extremely short and rude while also wearing BOTH her AirPods. She told my grandma that her glasses needed to be tightened, meanwhile we came in to have them loosened since they’re leaving marks on her head. When we told her that we actually wanted them a bit looser, she rolled her eyes and sighed really loudly as if we insulted her family. (She probably couldn’t hear very well with both of those AirPods in) She absolutely refused to loosen my grandmothers glasses and insisted they were fine. She then rushed us away from her desk. Before we left I overheard her speaking unprofessionally about other customers and their children. Needless to say Wendy needs to be working in the BACK, away from people. The other staff were so kind and made the experience somewhat tolerable. Big ups to the older lady and the two gentleman greeted us with warm smiles. Wish we came in to deal with them. Wendy it’s time for you to retire.

Truly “America’s Best” in eyeglasses.. extremely friendly staff and management without a hint of pressuring you into buying anything. Their techs are also talented and extremely efficient: I walked in with a broken set of glasses without an appointment and they fixed it on the spot and gave me a free case. This is the kind of service that makes this country great.

After having a horrible experience with Vision Works on multiple occasions, my coworker suggested America's Best. I must commend Donovan for being exceptionally resourceful and courteous. The doctor who performed my examination was highly thorough, providing the most comprehensive eye examination I have received in years. Kudos to America's Best for delivering an outstanding experience.

I had an unexpectedly delightful experience recently getting my prescription glasses. I was directed to the Morristown location a couple of months ago from the Parsippany location. I went about selecting my glasses just like the other dozens of people in the store. When I came back to pick up my glasses, it turned out that a mistake had been made with one of my glasses. I had the pleasure of dealing with Helen who was on duty and who clearly had tremendous knowledge and insight related to the glasses and was able to guide me accordingly. I had never received such attentive, proactive and insightful service before and am very grateful for the time she took in servicing me as a customer. I will definitely be returning here for my future needs.
