From the moment I walked in, everyone was very friendly. Tamara helped me narrow down my frame choices and even found me the best deals so I could get 3 pairs! Assuming the glasses come in time and the rx is right (they will, it will be), I've found my new home for all things vision. I also had an eye exam that day and the doctor was patient and kind.

If this is actually America's best place for eye care, nobody looking for optometrist care has any hope. The customer service was TERRIBLE (apart from the Dr and one man at the front desk who was very nice). Other than that, worst place I've ever been. When making the appt on the phone, one of the staff (Nicole) rushed me, got impatient with my questions, and seemed annoyed. I brushed it off at the time but wished I hadn't. While we waited, I overheard 2 staff ladies complaining about how much they hated their job and couldnt wait to retire. Also, when one of the staff was helping us, the Dr came up to talk with her. She interrupted and rudely dismissed him, telling him she couldnt talk now. The Dr was nice and very polite, but the eye exam seemed too shallow. I have been in optometrist offices since the age of 4 and was expecting a thorough and in-depth exam (plus, we were told the exam would take an hour, and it lasted about 20 mins). The Dr seemed too old to be practicing...he seemed to be confused at points (couldnt remember his office address, said he was going to ask us questions about our paperwork but didnt) and left some places on the form unfilled (he did fix it when I asked). But after we left, we realized ANOTHER place on the form was not filled out, so we returned to ask about it. We were very polite but the Nicole lady was NOT! She crossed the room twice to interfere while we were being helped by other staff members. At first she was short with us, but then progressed to being outright rude and kept cutting us off. Didn't seem to care about her customers at all or upholding the reputation of her workplace. They explained that place on the form was a service they couldnt offer, which is super frustrating because the whole reason we came in was to fill out that form - which they knew, I had explained it on the phone, and showed the form to all the staff when we came in. Nothing was said about lack of that service. Feel like we wasted our money. At one point, another staff cut in to explain something helpful, but Nicole would not let her say anything and walked away from us loudly complaining, "He's just ignoring us," (which wasnt true) "leave him alone." Nothing about goodbye, have a nice day, so sorry we can't help... Wish I had read other people's reviews. Will never come back again.
Go to a different location. The one one Miamisburg Centerville Rd has a great Dr. but the staff-specifcally Anthony are awful. They all back him up in defending his unprofessional and aggressive behavior by being cold ice princesses and being as difficult as possible. Examples-Oh-you need a trial pair of the contacts of your choice until your actual contacts come in because your current trial pair have expired because the Dr told you to give it plenty of time to "settle"yeah. No. Sorry! You need another appointment to meet with the Dr AGAIN because multifocal lenses are notoriously hard to get both near and far distances right-We'll make it extremely obvious how irritated we are to do our job. They're like a bunch of mean girls with Anthony as the linch pin. Nicole(optician), Rhonda(I can't remember, but her name started with an R), Stephanie, Natalie- all unprofessional and rude. Don't waste your time. Senior Management needs to clean house of this bunch. Looking at their most recent reviews, this has been an ongoing problem for about a year. Poor customer service. It's a shame because the doc I saw is a very nice and extremely knowledgeable guy.
It’s 4:37 and I’m still waiting for my 3:30 appointment. I heard the front desk guy tell someone else “sorry it’s taking awhile we only have one” when I first got here, so I asked if I should reschedule. He said “no the doctor isn’t running behind”. Obviously he is. I would have rather rescheduled than sat here wasting an hour of my day and counting. Was seen at 5:00. Doctor was very sweet.
The staff had a poor attitude and seemed unwilling to help customers. The staff were unfriendly and did not provide a welcoming customer service experience. The doctor is good, but the staff there’s awful.(except the young girl she is nice).Never coming back again.
