I can't say enough good things about America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses While on vacation, I lost my glasses during a water hike and suddenly found myself facing a 12-hour drive back to Chicago with no way to see well enough to drive. I was stressed and honestly thought my trip was about to be ruined. I called the office, and Darlene immediately understood the situation. She was compassionate, professional, and went out of her way to help. The team was able to get me in the very same day and provide me with a sample pair of contact lenses that solved my problem completely. What could have been a vacation-ending disaster turned into a minor inconvenience because of their willingness to accommodate my circumstances and find a practical solution. As a dentist and healthcare professional myself, I understand how important it is to care for patients as individuals and not just appointments on a schedule. Exceptional patient care means recognizing that every person's situation is different and sometimes going the extra mile when someone truly needs help. Unfortunately, that level of service is becoming increasingly rare, but the team here demonstrated exactly what patient-centered care should look like. Thanks to Darlene and the entire staff, I was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation and make it home safely. Their kindness, flexibility, and professionalism made a tremendous difference. My teenage son's frames to his glasses were broken last night around 4:30pm . Lens were fully in tact so I called his regular eye Doctor office sorry can't get frames to Friday . Unfortunately my son can't see without glasses. On a wing and a pray I called America's best asking I didn't buy glasses there but could you find frames there tonight to fix my son's glasses. They said we sure can try no promises we close at 7:00. Well up we go and got the best service of our lives they did in fact find a frame that fit his lens but in less than a hour he had fixed glasses. The staff at Dickson City America's Eyewear is epic. The service was quick. The receptionist was nice and efficient. There was no long wait and the frames are decently priced. I did use my commercial insurance, but out of pocket didn’t cost me a lot either and I feel as if I got the perfect fit for frames.

The dr was great, the staff on the other hand was not forthcoming about anything other than their feelings towards an ex-coworker. No information was given to me about what my vision plan covered and ended up over paying because of this. Definitely going to find a new place to go after my lackluster experience.

Would not recommend to anyone. Unless you don’t want to see after wasting money on glasses and contacts. I am so disgusted with this location. Purchased glasses for the lens to be on the outside of the frame. Go back and there and their answer is I don’t know. How did no one check prior to giving me my glasses. No accountability. Remake another pair still can’t see out of them. Still don’t have my contacts cause they are not script
