Don’t really understand the bad reviews ? First : decided to take my family here for their eyes exams and it was worth it , states where very professional and help us understand every step of the exam . 2nd ; place is very clean and maintained as far as sitting area and restrooms. 3rd ; we did have to pay for out of coverage insurance, but it was worth it . I had a very disappointing experience at this location and would not recommend it. My eye exam appointment was scheduled for 5:30 PM. I arrived at 5:36 PM and went to the front desk to check in, but the employee was busy chatting with other people and left me standing there waiting without acknowledging me. At 5:40 PM, while I was still physically standing at the front desk waiting to be helped, I received a text saying that my appointment had been canceled. At approximately 5:41 PM, the employee finally asked how she could help me. When I told her I had been waiting to check in for my appointment, she said, “Unfortunately, the system automatically canceled it.” I explained that I had been standing right in front of her waiting to check in before the cancellation happened. She simply blamed the system. Another employee came over and gave me the same response. The problem was not the system. The problem was that I was there, waiting to be checked in, and the front desk staff did not assist me in time. Canceling my appointment while I was standing there waiting because the employee was distracted and then blaming the system is completely unacceptable customer service. Very unprofessional experience. I would not recommend this branch. The visit was on Friday August 21
I was helped by a Manager by the name of Kiara who gave me and my fiance a courtesy replacement of lenses after going past the replacement day, very nice on the phone! Christian was the salesman who helped me in person and walked me through some confusion and got my glasses put on new frames quick and easily! Super kind and fast, had good knowledge of the products. Michelle was another saleswoman who helped Christian with the confusion and made sure I left with my new frames and with a smile, these employees were both helpful and kind, I left very appreciative and with a sense of being helped, I will be visiting here instead of other glasses retailers in the future!
Ordered 2 pairs of glasses. Went in to get them today. They were way too big. The guy who was supposed to be helping me berated in front of everyone. Said it happened because I was putting them on my head! Brand new glasses I have never touched before. When I told the guy these glasses are brand new and I have never worn glasses on the top of my head. He just snorted at me like I was lying. What kind of place treats people like that? No hello. Let me get these right for you. Nothing except condescending attitude. Disgusting. I work in customer service and would never treat a customer like that.
I made an appointment for January 19th. I arrived 10 minutes early which allowed me time to browse frames. However, I was not called in for my appointed time for 20 minutes AFTER my scheduled appointment. I should have walked out and gone back to LensCrafters. Dr. Bailey was very nice and thorough. The CSR that assisted me was also very nice. I believe her name was Natalia. The issue is that my paperwork clearly states "Your purchase will be ready by: 2/5/26". I went to the store today only be told that my glasses were not in. Now, I did change my payment method on the morning of 1/20/26 and Natalia stated that changes the delivery date to 2/6/2026, however she could not tell me if my glasses would be ready on that date. A payment change made less than 24 hours after the original purchase should not change the date in which the glasses would be ready. Natalia also said that the date is provided as an estimate however that is NOT what I have in writing. So, I cancel the order and decided to order the glasses online. I found the same glasses on the AB website. Easy, peasy, right? No! Why? Because my prescription, that my insurance paid for, does not include the PD, which is required to order online. I have made an appointment at LensCrafters for tomorrow and am hoping they can do something with this worthless prescription. I went to the eye doctor originally because I could tell that I needed a stronger prescription and to have to wait almost 3 weeks for a pair of glasses in 2026 is ludicrous. I would avoid this company at all costs.
