America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I've been going to America's Best Medallion location for 7 years. I had a negative experience at my last appointment so I decided to switch to the Plano location that is closer to home. Dr. Kayla Hoang did myself and my sons exams and she by far has been the best! She was very kind, patient and made us laugh. I really enjoyed meeting her and the staff were also friendly and helpful. Our Associate Hania was so patient and gave us the best customer service. She was very knowledgeable and provided options for us and you could really tell that she cares. I'm so happy that I switched locations! I would highly recommend America's Best at Collin Creek!

Just had my appointment here this morning and I was pleasantly surprised by how great the staff and care was. I was greeted immediately when I walked in for my appointment and the fact that they have you do your patient intake paperwork beforehand made checking in pretty easy. They ran my insurance(Delta Dental is Eyemed by the way in-network) fairly quickly and took me to the back waiting area which I didn't have to wait long This is extremely important because I live with a chronic anxiety disorder and get very bad social anxiety but the staff made me feel comfortable. Within 10 minutes the eye doctor took me in and she was fast, knowledgeable and educated me on my eyesight making me feel comfortable with my overall eyecare. When I was done she walked me out and introduced me to the staff by name who offered me help with picking out frames but I already had frames in mind at another location. They weren't sale-sy and didn't push hard when I told them this. The only thing I did want to mention is that my eye appointment didn't have my PD(pupulary distance) measured or if it was, it was not on my prescription. When I called them for this information they told me I'd have to come back and have this measured. I wish I would have known to ask for my prescription because the other company I was getting new glasses at asked me for this information. Overall, this is my second year going to America's Best and I'm returning next year for my eye appointment. But next year I'll make sure to ask for my PD at the appointment.

🎶 I can see clearly now... because Norma opened my eyes in more ways than one. 😂 Me: "I'd like to order my ridiculously expensive contacts." Norma: "Hold my calculator." Not only was she kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, but she also price matched my contacts...Something no one has EVER told me was an option, despite me being a longtime customer. The plot twist? My fancy princess-and-the-pea sensitive-eye contacts ended up costing less than they did when I had vision insurance. Norma is out here doing the Lord's work one contact lens at a time. America's Best... if you're reading this, protect Norma at all costs and give that sweet woman a raise.

I stopped in around noon on Thursday expecting to drop off a pair of glasses that I haven’t really been able to wear because the lens keeps popping out of frames these are my best pair of glasses but afraid to wear afraid I will loose the lenses then there is almost 400 dollars out the window right ? I’m sorry but I forgot the 2 young ladies names that where assisting me I didn’t know how difficult it was gunna be or if they would need to be sent out for repair or what The 2 young ladies said it shouldn’t be that long and to just give em a few minutes I was surprised both were very nice and willing to be of assistance And this is somewhat of a change from the normal retail world of today where they just doing a job and don’t care about service and wanna just get back to a device and escape Seems they were having a time of it and it and that it may be on a 8-9 on a difficulty level And was taking longer than they had thought but they prevailed One used this as a teachable moment and instructed the other on how to use the equipment to make a viable repair They replaced the wire and my missing nose pad glasses are back to 100% and I thank you both Ladies you both did an excellent job and I thank you I just wished I could remember your names Normally I do not leave reviews But I felt obligated because these two exceeded my expectations in the moment both of them set examples on both cust services and service knowledge And were able to fix my glasses I thank you both Ray Hill PS I put in that both of these two deserve acknowledgment of some sort No not for doing just their job , Because that is what they did …. Their job But by setting an example and showing everyone else on how it’s done Correctly thank you Ladies Thank you Americas Best PSS I say at least half a buck if not a whole dollar each per hour Something !!!!

Best service! April was very courteous and helpful. As soon as I came been was greeted and help by her. She’s so awesome.
