Dr. Patel - THE BEST!!! America's Best as a company this location, at least, INCOMPETENT CROOKS!!! I ordered and paid for glasses there! They KNEW I am a diabetic patient and that Dr. Patel was not happy that the other doctor ordered my glasses so soon and that I had to wait until I had a stable blood sugar and eye prescription. It's not my fault it took almost a year for that to happen. It's a miracle that it even did, being unemployed the ENTIRE time. It's also not my fault that they never did their job correctly. They never told me about their policy or offered me a refund, not even when I tried to give them the glasses back!!! This office basically stole over $300 from me by selling me glasses I've never been able to use! I'm livid and I either need my glasses or my money back!

I’ve been going here for my glasses since I moved to Austin in 2019. The appointments are quick and easy going and I love the doctor here, Dr. Deepa Patel. She’s amazing and really cares for her patients. The glasses purchasing process after my appointments is also easy-breezy. They have very friendly and professional staff. They’ll try and up-sell you but there’s never any pressure to buy more than what you want and most of the time their suggestions are in your best interests. There’s also this manager here that’s very good at his job. He’s got brown hair and glasses and dresses very well. I don’t know his name unfortunately but, I’ve seen him in action and he’s good. There was one time I was checking out and a customer blew up on the staff and he did a fantastic job defusing the situation. I have no idea why the customer was upset but he did an excellent job calming her down and taking the time to listen to her. I was very impressed! All in all, this place is a solid choice to get your glasses at a really good price in town. The selection is very good too and I believe you can bring in your own frames too if there’s a specific frame you want to use that they don’t carry.
I come once a year and I always have a good experience. I like that they have the discount deal when you buy two pairs, so I take advantage and solve everything at once. The attention is super fast and efficient, you don't waste time waiting. In addition, there is always enough variety of mounts to choose from. It's a reliable place I keep coming back
Today I came in for my yearly check up at a new location. From the very beginning Chase received me with a smile and enthusiasm he helped me throughout the whole process and when he found out I wanted a frame that was already discontinued he did not stop there he called numerous stores to find my frame and did not give up even when I had already decided on another frame. He eventually found the pair I wanted at another location!!!!! When I asked him how he kept up with so much energy he responded by saying he loved what he did! I wish every where I went there was a Chase. Definitely recommend this location he was absolutely amazing !
The employees were very nice and friendly, but before you schedule anything ASK LOTS OF QUESTIONS. When they give you prices, ASK IF THAT PRICE IS FOR THE WHOLE PAIR OF GLASSES, OR PER EYE. They will absolutely tell you a price, then you find out that it was PER LENSE, meaning the actual price is TWICE what you were quoted. I was told that transition lenses would be an extra 74.50, so I went ahead and set things up. After I got the exam and chose the frames and everything, I told the tech that I wanted transition and find out that it was 74.50 PER LENSE, meaning it was actually 149 dollars, not 74.50. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU TELL ME THE "PER LENSE" PRICE WHEN I OBVIOUSLY NEED IT ON BOTH LENSES, EXCEPT TO TRY TO DECEIVE ME?? They have great prices if you are just getting basic glasses, but if you want any extras, just ask lots of questions before you commit.
