After having an eye exam and choosing the frames I wanted, we waited to pick up my new glasses. When my daughter picked them up for me, (I'm handicapped and couldn't go myself) I found they had given me the wrong frame and the lenses were incorrect as well. I can see up close and for reading but everything else was blurry. We made an appointment and went back. Reexamined with the glasses on. I explained to Dr. Griffin that everything is distorted and that these were not the frames I wanted. I picked out a new frame and waited for the text that they were ready. My daughter picked them up again and again they were the wrong frame. Not only wrong, but the exact f ame I returned the first time. The lenses were supposed to be remade without the extras that were put in the first pair. They are exactly the same with the same problem for me. I can see up close. Anything beyond two feet is blurry. These are the exact same pair of glasses I returned. I'd ask for a refund, but they will get that wrong as well. Wonderful people working there. Pierre, thank you for your kindness. I'll never utilize this business again. Do not recommend. Update: After speaking with Pierre, of America's Best and my insurance, a refund was given. Thank you Pierre for your assistance.

If I could do negative stars I would. My appointment was for 11:00am for a regular yearly check up and it was not until 2pm that I left this dumb place. 3 hours for an appointment If you are late they quickly turn you around but if it takes them 3 hours for your appointment its fine? BS DO NOT DARE GO HERE.
Would not recommend americas best off of wards road! Two hrs waiting… they have four people in the reception area only one person doing appointment! Just saying 2 out of 10 for customer service! If someone makes an appointment.. they should be seen at the time of appointment… 1220… and it’s 2 0clock!! I only give a 2 bc the staff was generally kind… I will be finding a different eye doctor… I’d rather pay 200 an appointment and not have my day wasted!
Very unsatisfied with this company. I usually never have any issues, but this is ridiculous. I went in the Friday before the 4th of July for a contact lens exam I am new to contacts so I don’t really understand the process but I went in for my appointment they read my chart wrong let me sit there for 2 and half hours just to tell me I have to see an actual doctor and not a virtual doctor. Paid $80 that day had to schedule another appointment to come back to see the doctor and get fitted for contacts. Paid another $50. I received the text that my trials came in so I called to verify with them that they had come in she said yes and I was like okay so i’m good to come in and get them and you guys will show me how to take them in and out and she said yes i said okay i’ll be there after 5:00 that day she said okay. I come in there were maybe 2-3 people working with like 6 customers in store. The lady helping me asked what i was here for I explained to get my trials she said okay handed them to me and told me to have a nice day. I said so are these weekly monthly’s or what she said she didn’t know. I asked so do i just call back to schedule my follow up she said yes. They didn’t show me how to take them in and out, i didn’t know which contact goes in which eye. I call the following more and i spoke with another lady she told me they weren’t even supposed to give me the contacts because they were supposed to schedule me to see the doctor and show me to take them in and out. I asked when the next availability is and she said the 24th but I will be out on vacation. She basically told me that was unfortunate. I’ve been basically been getting a run around for 3 weeks now, i’ve had to take 2 half days basically off of work and drive 45-50 mins every time they need to come back and still can’t even use the contacts. I will not be returning and will take my business elsewhere and will be reaching out for some sort of refund.
Had an appointment scheduled. Got an email to confirm. No one else called me to ask about my insurance. I have VSP. I called them the night before and asked about coverages and my copay. They said they were not in network with them and would be self pay. Would not tell me a self pay price for the exam. I asked why no one had called me. Kim stated that they only pull benefits the day of. You’re not going to tell me until the day of that I’m self pay and then hit me with a bill? Not a good way of doing business.
