Only my second time at AB and it will probably be my last. They are understaffed and there is a lot of waiting. The new doctor I saw completed my exam is less than 5 minutes. Even if my eyes look good this is not a complete exam that should require an $80 charge. Very slow processing everything and lack of knowledge about eye care is unacceptable. Do better if you claim to be America’s Best!!!
Poor customer service no call regarding trial contacts for pick up until 2 months after exam. Finally picked up contact trials- always in past in daily wear contacts given trials of non daily wear contacts and I have no contact lenses case or solutions just gave me contacts without any supplies. I am not gonna buy supplies for 2 trial contacts. Also given 6 items separately and loose given 2 weeks worth of daily wear contacts and 2 individual non daily wear contacts. Staff took rubber bands off packages and took non daily wear contacts out of plastic they were in and handed me 6 loose items to carry out. ZERO customer servic
Not kid friendly to start with. The doctor smells like very very strong cigarettes. The guy was very cookie cutter didnt care at all. He didnt listen to me about my needs or anything that I had concerns about. I wouldnt recommend to anyone! Not to mention they are always talking with one another and not helping the people that are waiting to get checked in.
Just once I wish they’d get something right. They never get the prescription right. You keep coming back to see the “doctor” who tells you you just needed to try them a little longer. If I can’t drive, read or walk up my stairs, it’s probably not time I need. They ordered trials for me 4/30, they were shipped on 5/19 and I called them in 6/2 to find out they have them sitting in the store and forgot to mail them to me. Came in the mail yesterday and they reordered the wrong pairs AGAIN! I’d like to say this is a simple mistake, but I have not had a single visit here that there was not some sort of mistake. It’s like they take pride in getting it wrong every single time. This place seriously needs some massive overhaul with competent and professional employees.
The eye doctor was great but the staff in the front needs to be more educated on their jobs. They messed up twice on trial contacts. Gave me someone else’s prescription first time and second time marked the contact boxes wrong with what eye for the prescription. Will not be going there in the future.
