The store is clean and bright and has an excellent selection of frames at the different price points. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Kabrina was very knowledgable, energetic, and sincerely fun to talk to. It was my partner's first time getting classes in his life, and she explained everything very well, was keen to set accurate expectations, and also went above and beyond when she realized we weren't using our insurance to the best effect. She re-ran the numbers for us on several different frames/coatings combinations, and we never felt rushed or like we were a hassle for all of our questions. I, a long-time glasses wearer, tend to like to check out different glasses stores for their frame variety, but my great experience with Kabrina Johnson would have me go back just to work with her again.

The staff was very nice and helpful. I ended up getting 4 pairs total and paid about $300 in total, exam was free. Very happy with the service and price. Posted 3 of the 4
Very disappointed today. I have been coming to this location for about 3 years and a cash paying customer. Always greeted with a smile by the reception. Today was very different, enough to write about. No greeting or even acknowledgement when I walked in. I stood at the counter for a good 2 minutes (count that) before I decided to sit and wait. After a solid 5 minutes several others walked in, greeted and offered assistance immediately. After that is when the young man, brown-skin, asked if he could help me. I'm a fair consumer and believe in being treated fairly. Today was not that day for me. The male worker with the blonde hair, is the weak link. I'm not recommending today. It was a bit too obvious today.
They're good... VERY good! All of the staff here are very customer friendly and professional. The technician was very efficient and proficient. The optometrist was quite an expert in my opinion. She was pretty direct but in a confidence inspiring way. She seemed almost too straightforward and direct at first but that's just because of how capable she is. I am always apprehensive about getting my prescription right because of my particular vision issues but let me tell you. By the time she got through with those various tests and shuffling all of those different slots they use to test the strength you need for your prescription, it was like watching a skilled Black Jack dealer at a Las Vegas casino. She flipped those switches and shuffled those levers and then bam! I paused and she asked, " Is everything okay?" And I just said, "WOW!" Because quite frankly, I haven't been able to see this clearly for years. And I'm talking about maybe 20 years. Oh I could see alright, but not like this. And she just smiled and said, "Okay, good." Just saying that I am very happy with the results would be a profound understatement. Thank you America's Best!
Read this if you are a new contact lens user. Might prevent a mistake. This is my first time ordering contact lenses. I was misinformed at this location. I was told my insurance would cover about a year supply of contact lenses (in reality most insurance companies cover the standard 6 months supply). I opted for monthly lenses of their own in-house brand simply because I wasn’t really given/discussed with any other options. They said I would receive 12 lenses. And you do receive 12….6 in each eye….. if I was explained that, I would have figured out that it only covers 6 months. But “12” sounded deceiving. Here is the problem, which also was not discussed with me: the monthly contact lenses apparently expire in 1 month, regardless of how often you wear them. Even if you wear them once a week, once that package is open , the expiration date is in a month. Plus, I wasn’t explained that you have to change the solution daily and the case monthly, which adds to expenses and is an extra effort. If I would have been explained that, I would have opted for dailies, which are sterile every time you wear them. The insurance covered supply for dailies can be stretched out for a year or longer for occasional wearers like me since each pair of lenses is individually packed. But I guess they just wanted to sell their in house brand of monthlies. Oh well, at least I learned something new.
