America’s Best Optometrist

I made an appointment for this office on October 11 and ended up purchasing 2 pairs of glasses and 2 boxes of contacts. I was told everything would be ready for pick up within 7-10 days. I picked up my glasses within that timeframe but the contacts had still not arrived. I was told to give them a few more days. I called back a week later, still no contacts. Another week later, still no contacts. It has now been 7 weeks and I am now told the contacts are on back order. Why didn’t anyone call to inform me of this during this 7 weeks of waiting? Why did I have to keep calling in instead of them calling me with updates? I spent a total of $748.13. Today I called in today and requested a refund for everything. I was told that because it is past a 30 period, I cannot return the glasses. So apparently, they only follow timelines when it’s convenient for them. I have been wearing contact and glasses for nearly my entire life. Needless to say, this has been the most disappointing optical experience I have ever received. Their customer service is not bad, it is just not existent. However, they were gracious enough to refund me $165. Additionally, I did find another company to order my contacts with. The exact same brand and I received them in a week! Thankfully they weren’t on back order.

The youngster cops an attitude the second you come back and complain. I don't enjoy going back and forth 5 or 6 times! I said something and of course the other girl said "I didn't see any attitude". Funny that my friend (who was with me) sure noticed it. Oh well. Three people are very nice and the other one needs some training. Glasses are a tiny bit better, in other words, not as I expected, but now the frame won't fit like I had before. I think they made 3 attempts at bending the frame for me, but it's still not like I expected, or how I wanted.

My experience at the Yucaipa Americas Best was wonderful! I was late and they still saw me happily! Debbie was very helpful and answered all my questions, and so patient while I made decisions, and the lady who checked me in as well, I believe her name was Alli, she was super! Everyone was great, and very nice! My family always goes here, it was my first time. It was great new lenses, prescriptions, and frames, I was in an out in an hour.

These folks are amazing, professional all the way, very helpful and after all was said and done, my glasses were perfect, the fit was perfect and because they are readers I could actually see what I was reading, how wonderful is that, in closing let me say, I'm sold, won't ever go anywhere else for my vision needs, thanks so much for an awesome experience, warm regards DG.

I've been wearing glasses for a long time and this was the first time giving this location a try. This location is close to my work and I was able to get in and out quickly. Minerva and Yos were very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to choosing my glasses. They helped me chose the correct size frame for my face. They were very friendly and professional as well. I loved that I was able to get an eye exam and pick out new glasses quickly and return to work without missing much. Props to the team at this location. The store was clean and welcoming. I found my new store for glasses. Thank you!!
