Focus Vision Optometry

I dont leave bad reviews, so this is a first. I'm really frustrated with this location. There have been several mix ups with my contact prescription, my first and only exam at this location was nearly a 4hr process. I went back to the location after my exam to solidfy my contact perscription and was treated as a nuisance by staff.. The tech I spoke informed me they had made a special order for me, it was going to get delivered (news to me), and they would call when it arrived. Again, this was a shock because it was the first I had heard of it. Its been nearly 2 months and I have called close to 30 times at this point to check in on that "order" and I only reach an answering service. I leave repeated voicemails with call back info but get No call back. I call into the 2nd st. Location and immediatly get helped everytime. I'm not going to completely loose faith in the "Focus Vision" company yet but I have lost trust in this location.

After visiting several other Focus Vision Offices, and being extremely disappointed in the service, office environment and rudeness of staff, I was hesitant to visit the Sundance office. But what a surprise!! The office is clean, beautiful, and the staff are VERY nice, courteous, professional and knowledgeable!! I arrived before my scheduled appointment time, and I was taken right back to begin the exam. The tech and optometrist were very kind and helpful, and I was finished very quickly. I ordered two new pair of glasses and frames, one being sunglasses and both being progressive lenses. Both arrived in a timely manner and the lenses are perfect! I am extremely happy with the service, selection and professionalism of the Sundance Focus Vision office.

BAD COMMUNICATION I never really leave reviews but the people who work in this office are terrible at their job. Ordered contacts April 30th in the amount of $262 and gave a box of 1 week daily contacts. After a month, re-checked in person since they never gave me a call or text, then stated they were delayed. Re-checked in person on June 15th and stated only the samples were ordered so they gave me a sample of Weekly Contacts, so I was pretty aggravated at this time. Re-check again in person on July 9th and stated they are still ordering them. Today is September 4 and finally picked up in person. Then stated I was sent a text on July 20th that they were ready which I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL OR TEXT THIS WHOLE TIME. The office staff is all bs, they do not communicate with each other or with their customers. Never coming back again.

FOCUS VISION OPTOMETRY is our keeper!!! Due to my daughter being in a wheelchair, it was difficult finding an Optometrist to accommodate her. Dr. Vanguilder is excellent and her staff are phenomenal. Thank you, ALL. You’re simply the BEST!!!

I will never use this Optometry office again! I don't recommend anyone else does either. I had an appt June 4th to test my eyes for possible Glacoma. As anyone would feel hearing this type of news. It has been completely nerve racking. I went in for my appointment as was told a Dr. would call me within two weeks with my results! I waited and waited. Here I am July 29th and I have yet to know whether or not my vision could slowly be diminishing. I had made a total of eight phone calls with no response. I can't even imagine that this place can stay in business with this type of service. I am sure the return patience are very slim. Extremely frustrating!
