I've never had a bad experience here. The doctors are all really nice and Shadow is the sweetest. She helped me find a pair of frames that fit my face beautifully. I've had bad experiences at eye doctors before (vision works on North avenue) but I'm so glad that I have found this place. They've always given me the best experience with the exam and make sure I'm comfortable. I would recommend these guys to anyone who might be nervous about the eye doctor or needing glasses. They will make sure you're comfortable and have the best experience.

Do NOT go here!!! I took my daughter mid April for an exam. We ordered contacts and glasses. She has a high Rx, so I knew we would not get them back quickly. I didn't expect 5 weeks for her glasses and 7 for her contacts. I tried to talk to the assistant manager, and she was absolutely ZERO help. They have no idea what's going on in their store. My daughter's glasses were shipped to her previous address, where she no longer lives. Rather than the store. AFTER I spoke to the assistant manager and asked her to call the moment they arrived. I never asked for them to be shipped. I asked for them to be rushed. I was finally able to speak to someone who actually cares about their job and she was able to help me. She called to give me updates and was able to finally get everything sorted out. Shadow, you do not belong there! Or you should be promoted to Manager. The team needs to have access to lab progress and upper management needs to train the staff in customer service and following up on jobs. This is not ok. Also, corporate reaching out after the damage has been done is counter-productive. You should be more involved with your stores during the process and give your teams proper training and resources to better help their clients.
I came in for an annual eye check while I was visiting family in town from another state. Everyone was super friendly, the doctor was efficient and thorough and I was able to get everything taken care of. That being said, I want to give a special shout out to Shadow. I’ve only ever had one style of cheetah print glasses my entire life, but I really needed something different. She took the time to help me find a pair of metal frames that suits my face and style WAY better than my old style ever did. She was so patient as I tried on each pair and helped me feel like a new me! Thank you, Shadow!!
I had an 11:20 appointment, and arrived early. I was taken back early, excellent. I got done with my exams and testing by 11:35. I then proceeded to wait until after noon to be checked out. People who had walked in after me, being helped before me. I was only helped when the Dr saw me and realized I had been waiting too long. (Shout out to him, the only reason they’re getting 3 stars) The back of house staff was excellent, the front of house staff left much to be desired. The woman checking me out was dry and the man she was training didn’t seem to want to be there. Oddly, they tried to tell me the system auto books another visit in a year.. I’ve never had that happen before and it seems like a shady technique to pad their numbers. Even more so because when I asked to not have another appointment booked and for them to cancel it, I was told she “wouldn’t let it go through” so it seems very much like something they’re doing on the back end and not a company policy or programmed system.
We brought 2 frames in (from Americas Best 4yrs ago) and ended up paying $270 because they do not accept VSP insurance. They charge $35 per lens for poly and $15 per lens for blue filter. We paid more with providing our own frames than from the selections they have on the walls. Know before you go...
