I had a great experience at the McDonough location. After running into an issue at another location, I called to ask a question about my contact lenses. The staff was kind, professional, and encouraged me to come in so they could see if there was anything they could do to help. The manager took the time to assist me, and I really appreciated the willingness to look into my situation instead of simply telling me there were no options. That level of customer service made a stressful situation much easier. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about finding a solution. I left feeling heard and taken care of. Thank you to the team for going the extra mile, I truly appreciate it!
I had my eyes examined at America Best. I tried to order my glasses from them but the lenses script was too high. I ordered the glasses from the manufacturer. Then went to the mcdonough location to see if I could buy two more frames and tops. The store cannot fill my script. I then asked if they could adjust my glasses....she started to tell me how everything is different now, etc. I said nevermind, and left. Ive been wearing glasses for 60 years and if i ever needed an adjustment I would go to any store and they would just adjust them. No long speech, etc. I understand things change, but it would make good business sense to adjust, without commentary, glasses from someone who actually had their eyes examined by your company. It takes two minutes. As a result of this, i will not return for any reason, nor anyone in my family and we all wear glasses. This attitude is why many companies are going under. Just give your customer the pickle. Not another dime will they get.
Location: 1128 Highway 20 West Suite A Mcdonough, GA 30253 The customer service here is horrible. I would not recommend anyone to go here. I arrived at 10:30 and left at 1 o’clock. Multiple people who came an hour after me were in front of me. I had to beg someone to assist me, and finally Sarah was the one who helped me. This location needs a complete overhaul of the staff. Horrible — I mean it, it was almost a traumatizing experience, and I’m not even exaggerating. I would not recommend anyone to go here.
This is my second time getting an eye examination with America's Best and the first time at this location. Quiet, clean, and well organized. I added a few pictures for detail, clarity, and, of course, some of the pairs of glasses I was considering to show their selection. One of the things I like about them is the cost breakdown of everything. Depending upon your insurance, the FDT and Retinal Imaging exam portion may be covered, but in my case, it was an additional $ 30 with each exam at that time. It gives more detail concerning your eye health, so I opted for it to cover my son and I. One other thing I appreciate is the frame repair. That same morning before our mutual appointments, one of screws in my son's old pairs of glasses came loose. It was spring-loaded. The technician was able to repair it before we left.
