America’s Best Optometrist

I have nothing but nice things to say about this location. From the minute I walked in, I was greeted warmly and the front desk lady was nice. I was quickly seen for my eye exam and Kennedy went above and beyond with me while I was trying to figure out which style glasses worked best. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone! 10/10

I have patronized for years. The eye examination is thorough. Including cataract and glaucoma exams. I am always pleased with my frame selections whether designer or generic brands. Staff is always professional and courteous. Insurances are accepted as well.

If only I had gone here first; I'd have saved myself a ton of disappointment with other places and gotten what I needed. The negative reviews that kept me from coming here first were not my experience at all. I had an excellent experience with Americas Best at this Jackson location. And in fact, the place I went to first (down the strip) that had the highest reviews was a shocking disappointment. At that location, somewhere between my eye exam and picking up my new glasses, something went terribly wrong. And they weren't willing to correct it. But that's a whole other review. Back to America's Best... the girls were excellent at every encounter, they had a much larger selection with much cuter choices of frames. I was in and out in an hour on my first visit with the exam and choosing my frames (versus literally 4 hours at that other place). AND, it was $40 less than the other place charged me for the same everything!

This place is a joke. I forgot to make a follow up appointment for my contacts because I didnt wear them, I called to see if i could get a fresh set of trials and schedule an appointment, someone who obviously had no idea what they were doing kept saying i waited too long and theres nothing she can do. I told her I understood i made a mistake by waiting 2 months, but that I needed to know how to fix it. She continued to say there was nothing she could do until a voice behind her said to just do a "Follow up at dispense" and to just reorder more. She finally was like "Okay..." and helped me. Come to the day of my appointment, I'm trying to check in and she's talking to me as if im getting glasses and contacts again and its my first appointment. I explain why im there and she hands me my contacts and sends me back to the waiting room. I waited for over FIFTY minutes before I got up and walked out. Why would you schedule me an appointment if you cannot fulfill in a timely manner? Why do your employees have zero clue whats going on at any given time? And also to add you have female employees using the MENS bathroom.

Not often I get to leave a 5 star review but this one was definitely earned 10x over. Each person I met with during my visit was absolutely a pleasure. From the girl at the counter to the lady and the doctor who did my vision tests but honestly.... Karen was the GREATEST! She helped me select my first pair of glasses, helped me find the best ones for me and even let me know which ones looked best on me in her opinion which I appreciated. She was very informative and made sure to guide me through the process and tell me what comes with everything or what options I had. Huge thank you to Karen, I am so glad she was the one that helped me today and made me feel very taken care of. Clean facility Clean and public bathrooms Great selection of glasses. Little pricey but expected Very kind and friendly staff.
