My first in the US and the worst experience of glasses. Ordered the new glasses but as a result my 4-y old still look better. When tried the frame before ordering, it fitted tighter. My one came a bit loose. Okay, may happen. But instead of measuring the necessary distance with special ruler and adjusting with special device, the sales guy decided to do it just flexing manually randomly: he heater the lenses, removed them, flexed by his hands, inserted back, and asked me to try right away without cooling them. And of course nothing got better, but now I have traces all the way around lenses.

I visited this America’s Best location for an eye exam and contact lenses on January 7, 2026, and unfortunately had one of the most unprofessional and confusing customer service experiences I’ve ever had in an eye care setting. During my appointment, the contact lenses were handed to me on the retail floor, and I was never given the opportunity to try them on or have them fitted. As a result, I completed the remainder of my visit without corrective lenses, and was unable to clearly see what my receipts or paperwork stated. I was also not provided with my prescription, nor asked if I wanted a copy. I had to obtain it later from the front desk. The following day, after reviewing my receipt, I noticed that my insurance had not been applied to my contact lenses. I called the store, and the front desk staff member reviewed my purchase and insurance and stated that it appeared I was eligible for coverage, noting that my benefit indicated disposable contacts covered at 100% of retail value. I was told I was still within the timeframe to cancel the transaction and reprocess it correctly, and was encouraged to come into the store to do so. When I arrived, I was assisted by an assistant manager who stated that the benefit language “did not mean anything” and that my insurance did not cover contacts. When I asked for clarification—especially given what I had just been told over the phone—my questions were dismissed. When I also mentioned that the service during my appointment had not been good and that the lenses had simply been handed to me, his response was, “What else was he supposed to do?” I then requested to cancel the contact lens order. The assistant manager initially stated he would refund the order and began reviewing my receipts, appearing to process it. He then reversed course and said he could not refund the order because it was “already being shipped,” despite the order having been placed just the day before and despite what I had been told by staff earlier. This conversation took place at the front desk in an open retail area, where other customers could hear the discussion. At least one customer was visibly listening and laughing, which was embarrassing and uncomfortable. The matter was not handled privately or professionally. I ultimately contacted corporate customer care. The representative I spoke with was professional and took the issue seriously. She attempted to contact the store herself and advised me that the store was dismissive during her outreach as well, keeping her on hold for an extended period of time. She escalated the matter to a regional manager. I have been a longtime LensCrafters patient for many years and have never experienced this type of dismissive, confusing, and unprofessional treatment in an eye care setting. This experience was deeply disappointing and inconsistent with basic standards of customer service, transparency, and care. I hope regional leadership addresses these concerns so future customers do not have a similar experience
Called the store (06/01/2026) and the representative who picked up the phone was being so rude to me. If you're not happy with your job, just quit, don't put it on your clients :)
So, a week ago I had discomfort in my eyes during work; I called during my lunchtime to find urgent booking, however, no places I often went to were available or picked up the phone. One of my coworkers recommended this location because she had an eye infection several months ago, and they were able to help her… To my surprise, my first call, not even waiting for over 30 seconds, I got through the receptionist. She was able to get my a slot after work, and I was able to come in; the rest just gets better. I nervously come in and wait for the doc to show— she inspects my eye and tells me I had an eye infection. After taking the drops they prescribed, I was good to go in a week! These people really know what they are doing. Please, you guys… I never leave comments down for places. But this place treated me right!!! I have to call in tomorrow to ask for the name of the ophthalmologist who treated me….. (and thank god I can wear contacts and makeup again!!!!) Best of luck, MTG
