America’s Best Optometrist

I recently purchased three pair of eyeglasses. One pair I had made into shades. When I picked them up, the shades were a little loose on my face so the person that took care of me heated them up and tried to fit him into my face a bit more snuggly, so I took them. When I got them home to show my husband, the shades were loose again, so I decided to return them. When I tried to return them, I was told that my return would have to come in the form of a corporate check, sent to my house via regular mail. Mind you I paid a total of $267.97 for three pair of glasses. $117.97 was on my Visa. The rest $150 was in cash. So because I came early, they couldn’t give me cash. However, they wouldn’t put it on my Visa card either. Which makes absolutely no sense. The only option I had was to wait for a slow check in the mail. Which I think is awful because you can’t even order the glasses until it’s fully paid for. I had already decided that I would not go to America’s best again, first because the eye doctor rushes you through the examination, it’s very difficult to decide which picture you’re looking at is actually clearer for you to see. Then just two weeks after I came back to pick up my glasses while I waited I looked around because I was thinking about buying another pair only to find out that the glasses had gone up by $20, ridiculous. So now because of this experience, I would not be an America’s best customer ever again.

I called ahead both times. They acknowledged having my frames in stock. Then held them for me. Called several days before appointment,asking if possible to do today while I waited. They said yes, promptly did it in 20 minutes. Great value and service

Being a surgeon and as medical professional of over 40 years of experience worldwide this is the first time to be shocked with the great staff anywhere like Kathy she is the best, kind, cheerful, helpful, and very patient with all customers with big smile and pleasant attidue

Came here to get an exam once noticing my vision had kworsened with my current prescription. After waiting an hour, to have an "optometrist" "examine" my eyes, I was asked what my previous prescription was to then have those figures typed into his computer and declared that as my new and updated prescription. I was informed that few of their employees are properly certified & credentialed their positions here. Please save you time and go literally anywhere else.

Kathy was wonderful and helped me so much. She helped me pick out frames, and helped with my insurance plan! She is just delightful and kind person. I will come here again. And recommend americas best to anyone that I know.
