Went to America’s Best in Mason today for a new pair of glasses. Brent(I think the manager) did an amazing job walking me through their different options of glasses and broke down the pricing that would best fit my budget, even though he was very busy. 10/10 service. Carol noticed I was ready and instead of making me wait, she introduced herself and finished checking me out, she walked me through the different options for increasing the durability and quality of the glasses, and we discussed what would be the best fit for my specific price range. She was not judgmental, even though my glasses were broken and falling off my face, lol, and genuinely wanted to “upsell” improvements based on what I needed, not to just make more money. Checking in was quick and easy, by the way, the staff assisting the doctor was all amazing, friendly, and knowledgeable in their job. I’m tempted to take a star away from this review because the Doctor wasn’t from America's Best. The secondary tests that check your prescription strength was over a Zoom Call, **I WAS TOLD AHEAD OF TIME THIS WAS GOING TO BE OVER ZOOM, AND THERE WAS THE OPTION TO WAIT ANOTHER DAY FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH AN IN-HOUSE DOCTOR,** but the Doctor was rushing to complete the exam, blurted out their recommendation and left. It was very detached, and felt mechanical. I could tell I wasn’t the only one uncomfortable with this, the person helping in store was struggling to keep up, to no fault of him, the Doctor was moving WAY too fast. If the staff hadn’t carried the rest of the service so perfectly (Brent and Carol), this visit would’ve sucked. Amazing job and I hope America’s Best takes good care of the people who give their company a great name.

Called into this company never heard of them. My mother asked for help because she took my brother to get a contact fitting. He wasn’t about to get them in but wanted to take them home and try. This company is stating it’s a state law not to be able to release his contacts that he paid for because he wasn’t able to put them in at the office. This is not true it is not a state law just their stupid policy that isn’t relevant. When I was on the phone with Lady, she had her And then said hold on, and I was sent to another man who was so very rude. He was telling me that they are not allowed to give them out and that he has to put them in to walk out with them. I was stating that that’s not true that’s like you go to the doctors office and get medication but then not able to take it because you have to go to a CVS or a pharmacy to get your prescription so you will tell me what’s the difference? I am a contact user since I was 14 years old this has never happened to me. My mother is definitely taking my brother to another company.
This is the worst place every, arrived at 2:45 for a 3 pm appointment, was told they was behind and at 5:15 pm they called us in they only have a doctor on a video and while they was trying to get video of my kids eyes and not sure why they needed video, and never even explained the procedure to us whatsoever. Told my kid if you don't open your eyes qualify you won't be able to see the doctor! That's when I got up and walked out and not one staff could even care! No one asked me what was up. Please don't take your kids to this awful place!! Almost 3 hours and no glasses this biggest waste of time !

Best place in town for eye exam. The staff are efficient and friendly. Wanda at the front desk is a gem! She is so nice to everyone whether it's on the phone or in person. What a lovely lady to greet all your customers!
