America’s Best Optometrist

From the time I called to schedule an appointment the Asst. Mgr. Katie was amazing. When I arrived Katie greeted me and in spite of the fact that I had my Insurance card there was no mention of vision coverage on it Katie dug deeper and found that I was covered. The technician-DeShawn, who appeared 16, was a 19 year old whiz kid. He looked like he should have been the lead for n a boy band. He explained everything he was doing in great detail in a way that a 63 year old could understand. Dr. Vuorenmaa was the most knowledgeable and helpful Dr. I have ever met. He explained the reason for my blurry vision and corrected it effortlessly. To finish my visit with the Optician Lori was the icing on the cake. She suggested, without pushing, which lens would be best for me always having an eye on my budget. I left there feeling like I had just been welcomed into the family. I can’t comment on the chain in general but if you’re within an hour drive it’s worth the trip.

I had such a great experience here. The entire staff was very welcoming and helpful. I came in to get a quote for contacts and glasses. Katie and Lori were EXTREMELY helpful! They helped me pick out quite a few frame options. The variety they have for you to pick from was great, so many different styles, colors, designs. They offered 40% off their frames which was very nice! I was very satisfied with my visit and will definitely be coming back! Thank you :)

What a great deal! I got two pair of glasses and an exam for less money than just the exam at the big box store! Very friendly staff & and quick appointment. It does take about 2 weeks to get your glasses back. Definitely worth it!

I’ve been a loyal customer at America’s Best for years and regularly purchase two boxes of contacts at a time (around $300). Occasionally I run out a little early before payday and have asked for a short trial set to hold me over. I have never had an issue at any other location — they’ve always understood and helped. At this location, however, I was refused immediately and the response was essentially that if they gave me trial contacts, they’d “have to give everyone free contacts.” That was disappointing to hear as a long-time paying customer. I went to another America’s Best location 20 minutes later and they provided the trial lenses immediately without hesitation. I understand policies exist, but customer service and discretion matter. I hope this location reevaluates how they treat loyal customers.
