America’s Best Optometrist

AMAZING staff! My youngest brother is an Autistic adult, so doctors appointments can be overwhelming for everyone including the staff. They were so patient with him and accommodated our situation with such grace! The receptionist Micheal was excellent, made an effort to engage with him so I could focus on my own appointment. Will definitely continue to book with America's best.

We had such a wonderful experience with Matthew at America’s Best in Georgetown. From the moment we walked in, he took the time to clearly walk my dad through every step of the eye exam process, making sure he felt comfortable and informed. What truly meant the most to our family was the care and patience Matthew showed while helping my dad choose the perfect pair of readers and prescription sunglasses. My mom always used to help him with these decisions, and since her untimely passing, this was our first time navigating it without her. Matthew stepped in with such kindness and genuine attentiveness—it didn’t go unnoticed. This visit also doubled as a birthday gift for my dad, and thanks to Matthew, it turned into a really special experience. We’re incredibly grateful for his compassion, professionalism, and eye for detail. Highly recommend asking for him if you visit!

I bought transition lenses in defective frames at the San Marco location. They didn’t seem interested in helping me. $300 pair of glasses I couldn’t wear. Went in this location, manager took right proper care of me immediately. I did not get her name. Excellent service from the second I walked in the door.

I went there on Friday to get my daughter’s prescription and I saw 2 girls busy with a patient, they both greeted me and told me they’d be with me in a moment. Next thing I know, I see a man with long hair walking around, didn’t even acknowledge me and went straight inside what looked like his office. Unprofessional of him to make customers wait and leave those two girls alone in the front. Never coming back again if management is going to overwork their staff like that! Those poor girls!

I visited the Georgetown store b/c my 2 month old glasses broke. I was greeted by Larenz who listened to what I was looking to do, as I wanted to see if there were more durable options to replace my broken ones with. He heard what I needed and starting searching for options to show me that best fit my needs. He showed me 3 additional options and although I had limited color options I was able to settle on ones that met all my requests besides the color. I even happily paid $50 more to upgrade as I know it’s an investment and if I had just replaced the broken glasses w/ the same, I’d be back in a month w/ them broken again. Larenz was excellent and did everything I’d expect one of my salespeople to do for my company. 10 Stars!!! Thank you Larenz!!!
