Took "2" people over 45 mins to place my single vision order for glasses. Then they had to call me three times within the 1st week to ask me to read numbers off my current glasses, and then requiring me to drive 1 hr 40 mins to bring my glasses in. I had told them on my 1st visit, that I did not live close by and watched children, so coming back in was not an option. BTW, one employee had read the numbers to the other employee as we sat there the 1st time. When I told her over the phone conversation that 2 of them got the numbers she remembered, but said the lab was asking. Said glasses take 7-10 days, mine took 15 days to arrive, that is 2 weeks! Once I got my glasses to try on, I mentioned that the screws had been replaced and not even matching screws - gold & dark almost black screws mixed. The screws are not the correct sizes and the frames now have a space between the screw section, not closed tight, screws too big. This is on both pairs of glasses, my readers I had them put into my other frames. They changed those screws as well for no reason and they now don't fit tight. They ruined 2 pair of my glasses. The ear piece on the left was way out of whack when I got them back. Not once did she offer to fix them, or offer a solution. I sat there for over 30 mins discussing the mix matched screws. I was never told how to clean my lenses nor offered any solution. They had no customer service attitude. I did speak to Olivia on the phone and in person when I had to drop off my frames about 5 days after ordering my eyeglasses. At least she was apologetic, and took notes since a manager/supervisor was not in at the time. We have used America's Best a lot and including this location in Williamsburg and this was by far the worst experience we have had. Sample pictures of poor quality service that I paid for.

We had appts for eye exams and waited an unreasonable amount of time for the appointment first off! Finally got that done then came time to get new glasses! Good lord what a fiasco, if your gonna sell glasses you should have people that know what they are doing. We were very clear on what we wanted so not think that’s unreasonable since we are paying for it! My husbands were pretty easy mine another story! I have one eye that needs a thicker lens! I made it perfectly clear I did not want coke bottle lens and I know for a fact that you can get thinner lenses as I’ve been doing this since I was very young! Paid for High index, transition gray lens. Well let me tell you how unhappy, mad upset every emotion one could have when I went in today and saw the glasses that were made for me, left eye was fine normal lens! Right eye!!!!!! Coke bottles are thinner. I put them on and instantly was nauseous and my eye started watering. They were hideous. The lens was so rounded and concave that you couldn’t even see out of it much less walk or drive! When I said something was told well that’s your new prescription! I call BS! Like I said been wearing glasses for many years! Not to mention no transition gray, so now they tell me I have to have a recheck appt blah blah blah and what would I like To do about the glasses! Really? Like I’m gonna take them home and Easter the 300.00+ on something I truly believe NOONE would be able to or want to wear again hideous. Asked for prescription to be printed and a refund but of course no one there that can do that so I have to go out of my way to take care of that unacceptable. I will be going somewhere else and getting a new exam and glasses and will not recommend this establishment.
Just a terrible experience. From calling at least 6 times to get an appointment. The exam and the doctor were great but the rest of the process was asinine. I’m a veteran and wanted to come somewhere closer to home but I’ll go back to the va for the headache from here. The checkout process was entirely too long. And there’s very low organization. And parking is a joke.
Very disappointed in this location and giving false information. Mu son had an eye exam at this location, once the glasses arrived the prescription gave him a headache and eye strain. I called a few days after picking up the glasses and they said keep them for a week. A week went by and it did not get better. I called back and they told me to come in so they could check into. I asked if I needed an appt and they said no stop by anytime they are open. I stopped in and turns out he needed a recheck, which does indeed require an appt. Was asked when I wanted to come back. This is not ok when I was told not appt was needed. Do not use this location they do not know how to get a prescription right and will give you the wrong information.
Scheduled eye appt a few days out, not sure why I did, as it is taking 2 hours so far. Apparently they let walking go before appts. Also, the Dr's are all remote, so they telehealth. Ill be looking for an other eye Dr. BTW, the staff is fine, seems to be a scheduling issue.
