Dr Barley is the best Optometrist I have ever encountered, he always explains every detail of the issues at hand. He was amazing helping me navigate the issues of PVD and eye cancer! I have read the one star reviews and haven’t encountered any of the issues patients complain about! If you want great eye care he’s the one I recommend.
I've known David Barley for years. I've also had him taking care of my eyes for years. He is WONDERFUL! He is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things in detail. He has a great demeanor and is a pleasure to deal with. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!
This doctor is billing health insurance before billing vision insurance. Furthermore he is falsely fabricating “medical” concerns that simply don’t exist and not informing patients of such until they get a big bill from him and their medical insurance company when the patient has vision insurance that would pay for the exam. BEWARE THIS IS ILLEGAL. I am reporting to the State of Virginia and patients must pay attention as they could be found culpable if not reported. Greed has overtaken this practice. When I asked that he call me and left messages with his staff to discuss, he has refused and not responded. Too bad.
Great OD with an amazing bedside manner. He takes his time and doesn't rush through the appointment. He answers all your questions and makes sure you understand everything that he is doing and why. Highly Recommend!
Dr. Dave Barley is exceptional. I very much appreciated the care and time he took explaining so many things during my first visit here for an annul eye exam. Everything was super smooth and stress-free from booking an appointment online to checking in and being seen to walking out with an updated glasses prescription. Thank you so much, Dave and team!
