Seems they've changed the way they work. Before you saw one tech, sat back in the waiting area for another tech, then waited for the doctor. This time, one tech took me through the entire process and then waited a short time for the doctor who as usual did a check of my eyes also and reviewed the findings provided by the tech. This made the experience much faster. Everyone has always been nice and seems to care, the front desk people are great. Any out of pocket expenses are discussed at check in. I'm very pleased with the practice.

The doctor is great — caring, thorough and personable. The same goes for the technicians who do the preliminary work. But the office is apparently overbooked and one ends up sitting and waiting to be taken to each phase of the exam. This is even true for early morning appointments with only one or two people in the waiting room. It shouldn’t take two hours for a routine appointment. My time matters too. I like the docs and the care but HATE the office organization.
This was my first visit to this location, and I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service I received. From the moment I signed in, everything was handled promptly and professionally. I was called back quickly, and the entire staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The doctor provided a thorough examination and took the time to address my concerns. At the end of my visit, the technician carefully reviewed my prescription and ensured I understood everything before I left. Overall, everyone I encountered was great, and the entire experience was smooth and efficient. I highly recommend this location and look forward to returning for future visits.
I love the staff at Mid-Atlantic Eyecare! Always polite, friendly, welcoming and professional! I got to work with Nina this time. Although she's been with the company for 11 yrs or so, yesterday was her first day permanently at the Williamsburg location. She w was hilarious. She made ny visit so much fun. I wish I could work with her every time. It was like hanging out with a girlfriend but yet very professional. Dr. "B" has a great "bedside manner" and not too bad on the eyes either lol. I didnt get to work with Kim this time bc I didnt need new glasses. Now she truly gives off that girlfriend vibe. Always welcoming and friendly. There were 2 other techs but I dont remember their names. I almost forgot the front desk staff. Very welcoming as well. Customer service is everything to me and the staff at Mid-Atlantic definitely get an A+ from me!
The desk staff and techs were all very professional and wait time was minimal. I am a new patient; this was my first visit to the practice. It turns out I had been set up to see a doctor who is leaving the practice shortly. So next time I have an appointment, it will be with yet another new to me doctor. The doc I saw was very hurried and acted as though he could not wait to get my visit out of his way. I left with questions unasked and issues not addressed. He was with me for less than 5 minutes. It was not until afterward that I learned that he is on his way elsewhere. No wonder he did not want to establish a relationship. It would have been nice if I had known this going in.
