Really had a great experience at Amerine. The doctor and the entire staff were friendly and very skilled at their jobs. I have been there many times in the past and they always do great. I highly recommend them. They have a great selection of frames too.

Dr. Amerine & staff are wonderful. If you are looking for a faith based eye care clinic - look no further. Highly recommended! They also see walk-in patients, so what are you waiting for?
The experience was wonderful, and excellent care. The staff were patient in every area of the facility. We felt welcomed , when we entered the building. I personally enjoyed the smile and their awesome communication skills. I give ya'll a 5 star review. This is from Mrs. Jacqueline.
I had a very disappointing experience at Amerine Eye Care in North Little Rock on April 27th. I arrived for an 11:00 a.m. appointment and waited over two hours before being taken to an exam room. After notifying the front desk staff and the assistant who took me back, I explained that I was there to have Dr. Stone recheck my eyeglass prescription, which was provided four weeks prior. The new glasses caused my vision to become more blurred, and I wanted her to verify the prescription accuracy. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I was informed by another staff member that I was there for a dry eye recheck, which, she said, was not covered by my insurance and would require an additional $220 prior to seeing the doctor. I clarified that I was not there for a dry eye issue but solely for a prescription review. She indicated she needed to consult with someone else and left the room. As a long-time patient, I have made efforts to allow my eyes time to adjust and even returned to my previous provider to confirm that the correct lenses were in my glasses. I was hoping Dr. Stone could re-evaluate and make any necessary corrections. However, due to how the staff handled my visit, Dr. Stone declined to see me. Frustrated and concerned about my reactions, I chose to leave the office quietly without confrontation. I will now seek another provider for an eye examination at my own expense, since Amerine Eye Care has already utilized my annual insurance benefit. As someone in need of glasses, I do not have the option to go without, but I am reconsidering who I trust with my care. Unfortunately, this experience has caused me to lose confidence in their service. Mistakes can happen, and I believe it’s important for healthcare providers to offer opportunities to address and correct issues in a compassionate manner. I hope your organization will consider treating all patients with kindness and respect, as you would hope to be treated yourself.
Had a great experience. I went as a walk-in and was seen immediately. The eye doctor and nurse were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend going to the North Little Rock eye clinic. Thank you .
