Amirikia Eye Center

Dr. America is a good doctor but doesn't care about anyone's time. I have had 8am Eye appointments and Dr. Amirikia doesn't show up into the office until almost 9am on the regular basis. Why should I remain a patient when she isn't concerned about her patients time and never addresses the patients concern of being in the office waiting to be seen over an hour because she has decided the patients can just sit in the back rooms and wait hoping she will show up eventually.

This office sends me emails every month to come in for an eye exam. When I called to schedule an appointment, they said, “We can’t see you anymore because of missed appointments “! Mind you I work at this hospital! And they wouldn’t let me purchase any frames, unless I get an eye exam! Sounds like you’re hand picked for an appointment! That’s great customer service! Way to go! I asked for their corporate number, the desk clerk said we’re private, we don’t have one!

Keep track of when & how you paid for your visit. I just got a letter from a debt collector saying I owe her $50.00 & I haven't seen her since 2021. This is the second time they tried to get $50.00 from me. I checked my insurance website & my checkbook, I don't owe her a penny. While I was looking at the charges on my insurance I was STUND to see that she charged my insurance $600.00 for one visit. Warning you, keep track of what you pay her. I wonder if she does this to all her patients. Greed!!!!

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Dr. Amirikia! My husband had injured his eye at work and by 9pm it was swollen shut and clearly infected. Concerned that it might be an emergency, I contacted Dr. Amirikia interrupting her evening. She was extremely helpful and generous with her time, promising to meet us in the office early the next morning if needed. It's rare to find such caring doctors these days and I cannot recommend her office highly enough. Thanks again!!

I would never go here again. I show up on time to my appointments. Dr is habitually late 1hr and 20 min -2 hrs. Doesn’t have any respect for my time. There are other good eye doctors out there.
