My initial encounter was great. The staff was nice and despite the long wait for booking an appointment my visit was good. Four months later I start a new job which only provides one monitor and a laptop. There is a major size difference in the issued equipment 19 inch laptop and 24 inch monitor. I request an additional monitor because visually adjusting to the difference in screen size was causing issues. I was advised that HR would send Anderson Eyecare a form to complete on my behalf. I reached out to AE via phone to ask questions about the process for completing the form and I was told there was no process. A few weeks later I’m informed by HR that my request was denied because of the way Terri Anderson responded on the form. I’m fine with being denied however the responses and lack of communication regarding this issue is what I have the problem with. No one reached out to me to schedule an appointment nor ask what issues I was experiencing prior to answering and returning the form. The responses were unprofessional, curt and out of context due to the lack of information. She mentioned several times that glasses would correct the issue without knowing if I had glasses or not. There needs to be a better process in handling ADA and other patient concerns.
