Dr. Routine has been my doctor for years. Him and his staff are excellent. They all way show me great respect. I highly recommend Summit Eye clinic to every one

i just went in with my mother today and the doctor jonathan routon was extremely rude. my mother has been a doctor for 35 years and she said she’s never experienced such a weird interaction. 1.) he didn’t clean his hands or knock on the door 2.) he said in a very rude tone “were good” because i said i think that’s it i don’t have any more questions. just bizzare to respond with that? a bizzare flat affect. me and my mom had to walk out. 3.) i had questions that were ignored even after done speaking with his employee and i asked again and he didn’t reply. 4.) touched my eyelid without gloved or washed hands 5.) had nothing to say didn’t want to know my medical history. this doctor was the rudest man i’ve ever met. and i have been around many doctors my entire life 6.) indeed felt racist especially towards my mother when she said i’m asking these more personal questions because i am a doctor and he shook his head and dismissed all of her questions. would this have happened if we were white? extremely unprofessional and lack of bedside manner please speak to your supervisors about doctor jonathan routon.

Love Summit Eye, friendly staff. Dr Young is so nice, professional, explains everything thoroughly. My cataract surgery outcome was better than I expected, highly recommend them.

This was my first visit to Summit Eye Associates and I will say that I haven’t experienced a thorough eye examination such as this one in over 25 years. The team is nice and professional and it was just very helpful and comfortable to feel like you are in good hands with them. I will definitely continue to go every year for my eye examinations.
