I have always had a wonderful experience at this eye doctor's office. I have been going there for 25 + years. The staff is caring, professional, and thorough throughout my entire visit. They take the time to answer my questions, explain everything clearly, and make me feel comfortable from start to finish. It's refreshing to find a team that genuinely cares about their patients. I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for excellent eye care!

I had a great experience at Athens Eye Professionals. I went there for my eye exam and to get fitted for contacts, and everyone I interacted with was friendly, professional, and helpful. The front desk staff were welcoming and made the process easy, and the optometrist took the time to ensure I found the right contact lenses. When my first set of contacts didn’t fit properly, they worked with me to find a better option and made sure I was comfortable with the fit before moving forward. They were also very helpful in maximizing my insurance benefits, which I really appreciated. Overall, the staff went above and beyond to provide excellent care and customer service. I had an excellent experience with Athens Eye Professionals. The entire staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. The doctors took the time to thoroughly explain everything during my exam and answered all of my questions with patience and care. The appointment was efficient, yet I never felt rushed. It's clear they genuinely care about their patients and providing quality eye care. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for knowledgeable professionals and outstanding customer service.

In my experience, the billing communication was not clear. I was told/understood that the cost would be a certain amount, and I provided my insurance card so the office could check what would be covered. Later, I was charged an additional amount beyond what I had expected, and I was told this was because of language in the consent form I had signed. I understand that consent forms include important details, but I believe additional patient costs should be clearly explained verbally and upfront, especially after insurance information has been provided. Patients should not have to discover extra charges only after the visit or when picking up glasses. My concern is not that an office has policies or fees, but that the final amount was different from what I believed had been explained to me. I hope the office improves its communication about insurance coverage, consent forms, and any possible out-of-pocket charges before services are completed.
